To get anything from the multiplayer mode you really need to invest a lot of time and attention to it, and after a session I'm wired for a good half hour after, from the intense concentration.
yeah I just have been finding the pace of mw2 and that you are up against seriously advanced players make it sometimes hard to be accessible unless you put hours in over a number of consecutive nights. I don't have the time so i will only end up being whupassed!
I know what you mean about being wired after playing. I am trying not to play before i sleep as the adrenaline stops me sleeping. I remember playing goldeneye on N64 against 3 tough players on pistols/license to kill. A tight match could have me exhausted with concentration.

Totally lost my killer instinct, actually finished a game in dead last on MW3 last night, made 3 kills, so frustrating.
Reminded me about how much more than a war-based shooter this game is. At it's best it's an incredibly taxing test of memory, psychology, observation, reaction and dexterity.
I haven't got mw3 yet and not that fussed. it almost feels like you need to be a dedicated gamer to play it and cant dip in and out.
I also think they should revisit the the "war" multiplayer mode from Call of Duty 3

I'm hoping that gta5 will be the same size as San andreas. What I love about GTA is the online free roam. So much fun to be had there and if it was the size of San Andreas - wow!
TBH from the trailer it just looks like it will be urban stuff like GTA4.
I borrowed a mates projector when I played San Andreus and basically played GTA "life size" projected against my living room wall. Was awesome!

I do honestly think that GTA 5 will be awesome though. Rockstar know how to make good games.
I didn't like gta 4 that much. It was an ok game but very samey and just got quite boring. San Andreus was my fave, mainly due to the big open spaces and the flying aspect. I suspect GTA 5 is just GTA 4 again with a different city and a few slight tweaks so am not holding my breath.

MW3 is a bit like the Tiger woods franchise. You can only improve the graphics so much on the same platform, only tinker around with the putting so many times.
so essentially each time you as an experienced player buy the game get a very slightly tinkered version of the old game and some new courses/maps. Inevitably the excitement wears off.

she said some appalling stuff about his family. I don't like the guy but she was gratuitously offensive to him.
