A very nice build. Did you get cable guides welded on to the frame for the rear brake cable?
Nice cranks too - what are they?
Yes. When it was resprayed I got cable guides and mudguard eyelets fitted, too. Cost about £50 for that.
The cranks are Suguino 75.

In June 2016 Islington Cycling Club are running a 107km (67 miles) audax ride that starts and finishes in Finsbury Park. This ride is called The Italian Job and it has an Italian theme: café, food, style. The cost event £6 to £9 to enter.
This is on the morning of the Finsbury Park Festival of Cycling, so riders return to the start point in the park, where a serious cycling party is in full swing.
You are encouraged to show some Italian style in some respect.
08:30 start – all riders away before 09:00. Earliest return would be 12:04 for the fastest riders, ie when the set up is over. Cut off for last finishers is 15:38, ie with the festival still in full swing. Peak time for finishers would be 13:00-14:00, ie good for lunch.
Look Mum No Hands! are partners and will run a pop up café all day, from 07:30, for riders to fuel up and stay all day for the festival.
Enter on the Audax UK website.

The 2016 edition of Islington Cycling Club's audax, The Great Escape, will be on Sunday 15 May.
This is a 200km ride that starts and finishes at Look Mum No Hands! and takes in lots of lovely lanes and villages in Essex, including the Knead Cafe at The Blue Egg in Bardfield.
It costs £7-£10 to enter and you even get some free gels and cake thrown into the bargain.
Like this year's sell out edition, 2016 will have a field of 400, so tell all your friends and family that this is the cycling challenge to set yourself for next year.
Enter on the Audax UK website.
Here are photos of the 2015 event.
And here's a 4-minute video of the whole ride
. If you are pressed for time, there is a 2-minute version.
Lastly, a Look Mum No Hands! blog.
We have already sold 215 places, so grab yours quick to avoid disappointment.

+Amey I meant to order 44e which is my size - just a typo and I didn't notice when they arrived. These were to replace my old Shimano road shoes which I'm still using. I need the money for a replacement.

+anidel I can meet you 5.00-5.15 tomorrow - any good?

There are two fully marshaled family-friendly bike rides at October half term courtesy of Islington Council. It's free but places are limited.
One starts from Elthorne Park and the other from Rosemary Gardens. Each ride is very easy-paced, about 8 miles and on quiet road. There will also be a rest stop.

My children are growing taller every day it seems, so I have two Isla bikes for sale.
They are both the Beinn 24 model, one in blue and one that's red. A pic of the red one below.
Basically, they are single chain ring, 8 gears, small-hand friendly brake levers, alloy frame with steel fork and in very good condition.
They retail at £399 each: http://www.islabikes.co.uk/products/bikes/item/beinn-24
Suitable for 7+, here's the sizing guide.
£200 each or £375 for both bikes.
Currently fitted with mudguards, but I'm happy to remove them if you like.

Ahah, that makes sense. I got the GPS off the auk website, but thanks to not being careful with file names I probably put the wrong one on my Garmin...This was updated a week before the event.
