lucky enough to be in Hampton Court
A pic of Wigg here just before he went back out and and others from the day in the same set
I really should know how to
an image, but it really doesn't work for meIt must have been super special to be there. I watched it on a dodgy stream on a shonky connection in rural France and it was still tremendous. The crowds in Kingston looked like those atop some alpine col. Even my mum phoned and said she'd watched the end through tears. Marvellous stuff!

Mine died yesterday. Would not turn on at all. Couldn't reset. Nothing at all. Phoned Garmin this morning, and to give them their due somebody answered the freephone number straight away and was very polite. Unfortunately they said send it back for a replacement, and no they won't pay postage, even though it is in warranty. They can get a new one to me in 10 days. Shame I'm going on on holiday, on Monday, with the bike, and had been hoping not to have to rely on shite French road signs, and the Mitchelin map book on the way down. Ce la vie / first world problems.
So the new one just delivered to me in France today. Pretty good service really despite my earlier moaning.
