I was stood next to James Martin last week , as I inadvertently walked into one of his book signings.
My initial thoughts was that he looked an incredibility smug twat as he tried to humour the long queue of slightly over weight women, as they waited for him to sign their book.
If only this had happened this week as I would have been more than happy to pass on the forum's regards.....

Overtook one of those orange hooligan bikes tonight near Chelsea harbour. Sounded like the guy was carrying a bag of spanners....I suppose he could have been a plumber but then again I don''t know many plumbers who wear chinos and deck shoes.
Jesus those bikes don't look they are going to last long if noises this one was making are anything to go by.

"Taking inspiration for his up an coming autumn/winter 09 collection from the cyclist and the path of commuting from the countryside to the city. Griffin is mixing country tweeds with urban city living, as the guys in Brick lane are bringing polo to their bikes in the East End, we are bringing the country to the city. Mixing technical fabrics with traditional wools to produce garments that have all the flexibility and functionality of a modern day cycling jacket but with the look of modern luxury sportswear."
So there you go,for 2009 its all about mixing your tweeds with your Brick Lane urban living, ....
I am giving up cycling now. How I can ever reach such heights as the penultimate page of Cycling Plus? Although I can lay claim to once beating Clive up Sawyers Hill in RP ,obviously he wasn't such a superstar back then in 2008.
Cyclefit sponsorship must be on the cards now ...
