I hate being so angry that I want to pour whatever liquid I'm holding onto the carpet, then crush the glass in my hand, or smash it somewhere, or throw my bike on the ground, or rip clothes/jewellery when I cannot get them off easily.
I hate riding my bike at the moment.
I hate that my boss won't let me have tomorrow off, despite the fact I have no fucking work whatsoever.
Ok, finished now.

what happen to silencer 7? did one or some of them go into a band that was/is on inatthedeependrecords? cant remember what band though
They had to rename themselves to Anthem of the Century (Aussie band had same name and served on o' them 'cease and desist' orders on them), then signed to Join the Team Player records. They disbanded, and Del went on to do Sworn In, who signed to Bridge 9. I don't think they've done anything since, although members of Sworn In may now be in... hmm, Silicon Vultures, and, er, Jealous (I think). Can't say I liked any of it tbh.

So, sorry to drag this one up but I thought some of you might be interested in an update on the original situation.
The motorcyclist is contesting this, so basically we've had to leave it to the police to decided.
Police phoned me a couple weeks ago to say they probably weren't gonna prosecute him, as they had two witnesses, one who didn't see anything, and one who had gone a bit too far and said that even the green man was on for the motorcyclist's road (which would mean he ran a red after a significant delay). The police went down and timed the lights, and concluded that it was a very quick sequence and that if he ran it, it was only just red, and probably wouldn't stand up in court.
Interesting, I thought, ok, so I asked for the names of the witnesses so my personal injury solicitor could follow them up once the police file was closed - and it turns out the police haven't even heard of the witness my solicitors have been working with! So I gave them this third witness's details and the police say 'ok, we leave no stone unturned'! Now the third witness also says the motorbike ran a red, so now he is very likely going to court.
So, there you go, this is almost a happy ending - I haven't been reimbursed for the destruction of my frame yet but it seems to be getting there.
In this case I have to say the police were brilliant, but that's probably what happens if you are a girl lying in the middle of the road in rush-hour central London with tons of people around. If I had come off in the East End on a Saturday night, I'm guessing they wouldn't have given as much of a crap as they currently do.

Vic - you had the macaroons from yuatcha? gorgeous packaging as well
Nope - I'm a macaroons virgin! Don't really know where's good to get them apart from Laduree (I'm still steeling myself to go in there.....). Where else apart from Yuatcha then?
They're a new passion for me, I've only just experienced the almond ones, having been used to coconut ones from childhood. Anyone else used to get fed Sainsbury's coconut ones with the rice paper underneath? Man, they were good too. But I do like pretty coloured almond ones, so shallow.

Me and my mates from school used to drive all over the place following UKHC gigs. Happy days, like 10 years ago when we first learned to drive. I remember an all day big bill at the Red Eye in Islingtonwith bands like Knuckledust, Freebase, Lockdown. Some lad got thrown right over the perspex screen of the mixing booth, straight on to the desk and put a halt to the gig for half an hour. Freebase were quite influential at the time and they're from my home town Northampton, so it was all going on around us.
Others like Tribute to nothing, Medula Nocte and Pulkas spring to mind too. There was a lot of that straight-edge carry-on but everyone used to be perfectly happy pushing each other around whether you were a non-drinking vegan virgin or a vodka swilling stoned lush. Bright times.
I suspect it was all pretty crap music-wise but we fucking loved it. Slags.
Dude, I'm from Kettering! Is the Racehorse still going? Cheesus I remember Freebase and Knuckledust, absolutely not my thing, pretty sure Freebase were one of the first bands I saw at the Racehorse, probably with Silencer 7 (now that's a disparate pairing...). I also remember Assert, and one of them getting naked a lot.
Good times, bad times, looking back.

Vic! Merlin looks ace! I want a pooch who can come riding with me offroad!
Actually he's a massive wuss! I think most pointers are much hardier/offroad types!
Your cat is awesome - if I was gonna have a cat, I would have a cat that looks like an 'old man wild cat', like yours. He looks like he belongs in a children's fantasy novel (in the best way possible), like His Dark Materials! So cool.

Want to get a pointer puppy at some point to or a sheep dog. Gonna have to live on a farm!
You might appreciate my crazy pooch Merlin:

Dinkier - Todd, left, and Tag (RIP), right. Son and father respectively. Todd would be pretty autistic if he was human, when we chose him he was the only puppy sitting down facing the wall constantly:

Fuck the feminists, she's gorgeous
I consider myself a feminist - nothing wrong with saying this IMHO, it's nice to appreciate women who want to be appreciated for their aesthetics, as Girls Aloud obviously pride themselves on. But the other Glossy Photos thread has got kinda silly. Anyway, she's very pretty and striking looking = my new crush (alongside the constant and enduring one on Baddesigner, of course).

spotted the chap on the deliberatly rusted, then clear coated frame (can't remember the anme but defo someone on here) this moring, about 9.15 on blackfriars bridge. also noticed the ghost bike has been removed.
Spagettihoops, perchance?
Where is/was the ghost bike on Blackfriars Bridge? I've never seen it.

Unlike Mitch, Broadway, and Newington?
Pylons ftw. And we can keep them at Matt and Vic's! ;)
Yeah, we don't have enough shit in our garden yet!
But it would be awesome if folks started playing at Brick Lane again, I miss the spectacle, as I'm sure others do (mainly because I'm lazy though). Certainly the best for summer - roll on lying on warm concrete with a beer and civilisation nearby, yesssss.
