Diable - if you read this - Having very recently lost my mother too I can imagine how you feel. Don't want to say I know, it's all individual. For me it still feels surreal. Can't put words to it yet, more than that I feel utterly lonely and lost.

I don't think anger is a good outlet though, even if it might seem that way at the moment. I understand that image was a big punch in the face for you, and the last thing you need to see.

I know I can't tell you how to cope or deal with it, again, it's all individual, but just let it take time. For me it helps a lot knowing and telling myself it's not supposed to be easy, that it's ok to feel fucken shit, and for a good while.

So stay strong, get the love and help you can from people around you, remember the good things and just try to cope. I've no idea, but I really hope it'll be easier with time

no, but if you check ebay for steel frames made of Reynolds 531 you can get a good frame for not much at all.

The fella on delancey is great. nice old shop. i tend to get the mountain blend and use it in a stove top thing, it's miles better than illy, and illy is miles better than most other coffees.

from what I've heard an espresso machine needs to make a lot of coffee to make good coffee, so it's hardly any point having one at home since it'll just do a few a day. Is that total bollocks?

also, why use illy coffee when there's roasters dotted around town that makes better and cheaper stuff? I always go to the one on Delancey Street in camden

I personally don't mind how you deal with the economics or if make some money off the site unless it's your prime interest. Tbh I think we all owe you for spending time and effort running it. I've learned loads from people here, and prob saved loads of money too, and without you putting all the work in it wouldn't be possible.

Would it be a good idea to ask the forum for an extra pint to the server to get it a bit more in the black and therefor take some worry off your back?

I for one wouldn't mind advertising by the various LFGSS-related cottage industries--if they want advertising, that is. It's really mainly obtrusive and stupid advertising for (big) corporates that bugs me. If very small businesses get a chance, I think that's a good thing.
