Need parts to build my wheels. Not building the bestest wheels in the world, but still want something decent. Looking for either Miche track hubs, or system X ones, or something along those lines.
For rims I'm after something with deep profile, deep-v's or mavic cpx33, Weinmann dp18 or something similar. (on that note anyone have any experience of the weinmanns?). Either white or silver
Also a sprocket for the back hub. Got a 52t chain ring at the front, so will need something that would be good for a first fixie. 18t perhaps?
Will need spokes too of course, but guess these needs to be bought new as you need to measure them?
Also, if someone has a wheelset along those lines, that'd be interesting too
ta muchly, happy tuesday!

SkullheadWilderness
ThisIsRob (RJM) a banksey. but you bettor be quick it only has and hour left!!!
what a f*ckin joke that is
how the fuck're you gonna get render not to crack when it's removed?
If it's a sheet of plastic over it, i think Banksy himself should bend it open with a crowbar and poor a good dollop of paint in it
Man I wish it got bombed before the owner put his plastic cover up.
if it's a sheet of plastic over it, I think Banksy (or someone else for that matter) should bend it out and poor a nice bucket of paint into it

fc9k Oh mate, you made an absolute error. you can pick up London Langsters for not much over £400 now.
london langster? puh-lease
Personally I think you made a good decision, building up a vintage frame is nicer. You can personalize it so it becomes truly yours. And you can spend hours and hours googling / ebaying / reading here for parts (ask my gf, she knows....)

joeb Hi there, i am new and am looking for a frame to build up.
I know that generally, a fixed gear or s.speed needs horizontal or track dropouts but i found this bianchi going cheap
bianchi on ebay
and was wondering if you could suggest any methods to build it up as a fixie.cheers.
think you can build it up single speed with a chain tensioner (someone correct me if im wrong) but for fixie you need horizontal dropouts

broken_77
kboy
broken_77
kboy Need quite a few bits for my build:
Seat post, 26.4mm
white saddle, preferably a turbo that´s not a brand new shiny one
brake lever: preferably a diatech gold finger but anything small is of interest. Prefer silver, but one of those black one you can strip and polish up would be nice too
brake: anything fairly new that works
pedals: chrome with clips and straps that fits campag cranks
I can pick up in london, I live in e8, or dosh up for shipping.
allrighty, hit me!
shimano 600 clips plus straps included???? mounted on campag cranks so should fit....
def interested in both, how much do you want for em?
16 for pedals clips and straps...
40 for a saddle
these ones?
are they cool to use with sneakers or do you need some fancy cycling shoe for them?

flickwg there might be a brand new arione completely white(all white leather, no silver or cream) going for 60 GN soon - not too sure if i want to keep it tho
also - condor have reduced white toupes if that is your sorta thing
they look like this

they look far too sci-fi for me, i want something more classic.
Thinking of swapping my white theme in favour for black, bits are easier to get = cheaper. But... wouldn´t be as bling...

those alien rims looks sweet, anyone know if you can polish them down to silver? or is that just plain stupidity?
