Has anyone got a Bullitt (or similar, ie Xtra Cycle) in East London, available tomorrow (Fri 23rd Sept) morning?
We need you to ride for a tracking shot in Victoria Park, E3, with photographer and small amount of kit onboard. 07.00hrs prompt for approx 1.5hrs, £100 cash, probably breakfast, and the start of a glorious career in the film industry.
Let me know what type of bike you have, and I can pass on the production company details.

Two pairs of used Negative Gravity brakes for sale. Impressive looking bits of kit, half the weight of Dura-Ace, bit fiddly to setup, take campag-type brake blocks. Has cams for current Shimano/SRAM cable-under-bartape levers, and spares for the older, external-cable type.
£100, black pair, can deliver in London, or collect from SE22
The red pair is a New England Red Devil limited edition, small ding in top from storage. Both need a clean, includes standard pads. Red pair now sold.

Used Chris King Classic wheels, rims are worn but a few km left in them. There's a small ding I've tried to show (far right of rim closeup) and freehub has the usual marks from cassette cutting into the softer alu. Super easy to service with allen keys, makes the lovely King whirring noise....
£200, can deliver in London, or collection from SE22

I got these just before Edge became Enve but never got around to using them. Never ridden or even had a cassette fitted. Lightweight at 1100g pair (1730g with the tubs), world class race-ready wheel set.
- Chris King R45 black hubs, 10spd shimano. It's possible to replace the free hub and axle with 11 spd or Campag if needed.
- Edge 45's, 20 front, 24 rear. Front has two stickers taken off each side, the rear still has all three. These rims are still available as Enve 45's, so you could re-sticker
- DT Swiss Aerolite spokes throughout. The lightest, most aero spokes available (and probably the most expensive)
- Continental Sprinter tubs, 22mm, applied with Conti carbon rim tub glue. One spare Sprinter and 4 tubes of carbon glue included
- Kool Stop carbon brake pads x 2 sets.
Now selling elsewhere
- Chris King R45 black hubs, 10spd shimano. It's possible to replace the free hub and axle with 11 spd or Campag if needed.

The newer generation is in a Polartec Powershield Pro; it's a higher performing membrane in terms of breathability, but forfeits slightly on stretch. The DWR will be more durable/effective because of less stretch. So yes, there is a difference, but (in my opinion) they are both great jackets - sorry if this isn't a definitive answer! Some incredulous work this morning on the North-South superhighway.
Commuter character sails through a bike-lane red, as the traffic starts moving on their green and indicating left. Continues to move up as the column of traffic is turning left, tries to filter through the left-turning traffic, causing a van to clip him. Gets the message, but f*ck it, he's committed now! Goes with the flow round to the left, then across the road to the right in front of an HGV, u-turn back onto himself, and voila, back on track.
"mate, have some respect for other road users" was all I could muster at the next set of lights in my bewildered state.

Top spirit ad441! The route is so isolated the option to bail is really daunting, and to carry on riding with the potential for a critical bike failure. Awesome job to overcome it mentally, I'm sure you must be pleased now you got to complete the route in perfect conditions. I think we passed you when it had just happened, someone said at our 2nd stop at Kings you weren't just trimming the gears and relayed the whole story. ....I thought to myself it doesn't really get any more audax as I tried to find my dropbag amongst the sleeping bodies laid on the floor.

Good spot Clem! apologies @negaatio, I'd forgotten these had launched
The new Brevet bibs have a slightly thicker pad (like 10%), but engineered with different density foams layered and placed front/back; testing showing it's not simply a case of more padding = more comfort, but appropriate density padding placed in the correct place.
Hope this helps,

It's a non-branded anti-bac treatment, I'll try to find the out the specific function (silver ion, carbon, charcoal etc) if of interest. Having tested different ones over the years I've never discerned a difference between branded/unbranded treatments, nor a performance dropoff over time. All jersey and baselayer products with polyester content are treated - Pro Team, Souplesse, Replica - to avoid holding onto odour.

Thanks for the reply, and great news; will pm you details in a sec.....
