can use lots of hot water and fairy liquid, does the trick too without burning your hands or getting greasy residue. Use a slightly abrasive cloth , if its going to be covered with bar tape the green scourers work well but may scratch. Bit of elbow grease and bobs your uncle....

The Campag record hubs alone are worth more than what VinylVillan paid for the bike so its a steal but more importantly something a bit different looking forward to seeing the end results.

i would say that all of the frames were meant for 27's i've got a pic of the holdsworth with 700's see what you think and i'm sure the raleigh would look fine as its a smaller frame.

Picked up this today from t' North after a lucky Ebay find and months of scouring. Head spinning with all the ideas but its got to be sensible as gonna have a child carrier on it soon so really tempted to just make subtle changes and enjoy it as is.
