Much to my neighbors annoyance, i took out the CK headset. That's gone in the special parts box for now. On the way home i told by a guy that i should be careful waving Chris King about like that, i though it was a little odd though agreed that the King is too bling. On goes an old fsa instead.

Not long, about an hour and a half. It was trés bumpy on my 23c's.
maybe something slightly bigger would be better. I suggest a weekend ride up the lee navigation. You can always get the train back from anywhere along it.

As with most things... it's worth what people are prepared to pay. I could see that frame going for £220 in BLB if it was put in the window this wknd. I picked up a similar Viking track frame on ebay about 18 months ago for only £35 & built it up for my misses for anther £150 then she went and sold it for £120 : (

ahh well, i'll just hang on to it then. At least there is a loft in the new flat. Expect it full in a couple of months (all being well.)

Yes I have done that one too it is fairly doable and nice.
Has anyone been on that other canal I think it is called the lee valley water way or something?
It is the one that goes from the limehouse basin up to Hackney Marshes and on.
I was hoping i could use this to get me out past the M25 on a ride to Cambridge.
Anyone got any ideas?

did this a few weeks ago with a friend, start in east india sock and ride up the Lee Navigation, i took it as far as Broxbourne and then found a pub and turned around. There are some works on it at the mo so it makes for rough terrain past the M25. Nice ride though.

I rode up the lee Navigation, fixed 42x16 on 23c's.
Juddery but doable and more importantly, enjoyable!

I'm a particular kind of guy, it's all about the getting the right size.
But DB is right, he offered a different frame, i just thought it might have been a bit short.
Moving flats has put paid to all my idea's of multiple bikes, i'm just not going to have the room.

Bought off of Dogsballs last week. Built it up and it's a bit too big for me, i can't afford to keep it if i'm not going to ride the damn thing. I'm still trying to move flats and i'm getting rid of stuff anyway, seems like a good time to let it go. Only want back what i paid Dogsballs for it, £180. Now Sold.

27.2mm Seat tube.
56cm c-c seat tube.
56 c-c Top tube.
Reynolds 531 tubes.
Took 700c's with mudguards though i'm sure it was designed for 27's.
Nerverx pro lugs all round.
Track ends.
Mudguard mounts.
Track profile fork.
Viking head badge.

Paint has been touched up and i would say it is about 7/10 ish.

got a Ladies frame sitting at home that needs shifting. It's not in the best condition but a bit of love would sort it. Has cottered cranks, stem and bars still attached, 26" wheels would fit. Need the space so pick it up and it's yours. Let me know if you are interested.

I had a 55cm version of one of those, it was great but it died while attached to a lamp post. I managed to strip it right down and eventually the frame went in the bin. I still have all the parts and would love to put them back on something similar ;) . I always found the position just right for riding distances.

I had Shimano and felt like i was being crippled. Tried a second hand pair of BG's and they are so comfortable. I might even by a pair new this time.
