Beer has just gone up, twice, once the actual cost of the commodity, once because of the chancellors new budget a few months ago. It looks like it will go up again soon due to grain prices. This doesn't affect the larger groups/chains as they will have very strong price/volume deals in place it will be the smaller places. I am surprised you have noticed prices creeping up in pubs.

With the amazing jobs they will get with the brilliant maths and grammar skills...

I struggle to think of paying 40% tax as my contribution to society.
(Thinking about it I am not really sure what my contribution is, which seems a bit shit.)
I resent paying the amount of tax that I do, as i feel it is not being put to good use.
I could afford to pay more tax and would love to, if I could feel it was being put to good social use as seems to work so well in many Scandinavian countries where a lot of my friends have a far better standard of living.
I envy their life style and I guess a part of that is the amount of tax they pay.

My swres (herringbone ones) are definately not quality stuff and in my token opinion not worth the price.
All the stiching has come out from the button wholes, the seat area has started to bobble and they shrank a bit....
I keep meaning to take them back to Mosquito where I am sure they will very nice etc I just haven't had the time yet.

I've just come back from Edinburgh where I took my bike. It's all hills, cobble stones, rain and pubs that never seem to close. A recipe for disaster if you ask me.

Wiggle also do the ride to work scheme and their own brand of bikes called Focus always seem to score very high in reviews and seem to tick a lot of your boxes.
