Lovin this one.
Really like the original designs. Really don't like all the copy cat work. We have great designers on here, no need for copying other people's work.

This one is a really nice follow up to Rob's last year. It's completely different but keeping the same theme. That's a nice continuity to have.
Keep up the good work guys.

Hi,
I am starting an after school drop in program for kids in the islington area to learn how to fix and ride bikes.I need a few things:
-A place very near highbury & islington where I can store, and have weekly access to, around 20 bikes.
we have been donated the bikes but I have nowhere to keep them.-kids. If you know kids of any age in the islington area who may want to get involved, they are welcome. The program is every thursday from 6-8pm
-volunteers. Currently I am looking for people who are certified mechanics or those who are certified to teach Bike Ability. The program is every thursday 6-8 in islington. I don't need people who can come every week, but I do need people who can commit to once or twice a month and be dependable.
Please don't "personal message" me. Email me at myfirstname at roxyerickson dot com if you are interested. Please note that I will be out of the country from April 30th- May 4. I will do my best to respond but may need to respond last minute upon my return.
We start May 7th and I need the storage before then.
Thanks ahead of time for any help you can give.

Hey Guys,
people from Blue Peter and alarabiya tv have asked to come and check out polo.
I've said that Saturday would be a good day. I know lots of us aren't keen on press but this allows us to tell sponsors that we get press thus they give us money to be able to put on the Euro's.
Also Blue Peter could be a super awesome way to get kids involved and get funding for a kids polo program.
Alarabiya is a Al Arabiya News, a 24-hour news channel based in Dubai. What a great place to get bicycle coverage!
Please let me know if anyone has a huge problem with them coming.
Also, please let me know if you're up for talking with them.
Best to PM or email me as I'm not really getting the opportunity to be cruising the forum at the moment. -

This is everything that the forum is about! Customise you're own bike!! Plus we could have a party and paint em together (and do each other's hair and have a pillow fight, and....)
Plus if you're all about puke on cocks you can draw that on!Create your own FTW and the rest are OTP by default (no offense meant)

The idea is you receive a plain t-shirt with a black and white design which you can then colour in yourself so that it adds a bit of personality to your shirt.
Here is what you would start with:

and with a 5pack of fabric pens included in the sale (for an extra £4) which you only need to buy once if you order more than one shirt or share the pens with your friends. The pens will colour in your designs and give you some individuality in colour.
£4 on Ebayfrom what you saw above you can create this:

this way no one will have the same fucking shirt and people will actually have a bit of pride wearing them as they got the colours to match their bike or personality. Nothing more annoying than turning up somewhere to see that half of your mates are wearing the exact same t-shirt in the exact same colours.
- also should I add the text "reveal your true colours" to the shirt or does that sound crap and will ruin the simplicity of the design?
Any criticism?

1.) it is not a safe generalization to say running red lights is less safe than sitting at them. It's not always a risk to slow down, look both ways, and keep going. It's a risk to trust drivers and it's a risk to make bad judgments and assumptions about what traffic will do, there are intersections where running the light isn't worth it. 9 times out of 10 IMHO running a red gets you away from traffic patterns and onto streets less crowded by cars. IMHO running a red and riding aggressively in general is usually the safest option. IMHO it is often highly dangerous to sit at a light waiting for it to turn green while aggro car drivers get more aggro about having to wait. I for one choose to separate myself from cars however possible.
2.) If you did not actually see the accident it's best not to comment on a public forum as if what you believe happened is fact. The 4x4 could have been running a yellow, or the like. You don't want to affect what happens next with assumptions, no matter who is to blame for the accident.
3.) My thoughts and wishes for a fast recovery are with the rider.
4.) The driver made the choice to accept the responsibility for driving a car, or in this case, a 4x4 in the city. It is great that he was driving slow enough as to not have killed the cyclist. That was a good decision. How cool would it have been if he was not there at all! If he had chosen not to drive a car we all would be safer and healthier. -
From Robert one of the tower hamlet bike crew. I don't want to post his email without his permission but email me if this bike belongs to someone you know and I'll get you the details.
Greetings,
This afternoon on my way home I recovered an abandoned bike left up in the
raised flower bed bit, in the cycle/pedestrian underpass at Blackwall
(The subway by the 'Mcdonalds Roundabout')It is a small blue folding bike (not a Brompton)
The front tyre is knackered, and it is missing a back brake lever,
but otherwise it could be rideable with a little fixing. If it's your bike and you can supply me with some more details (for example
make/model, any distinguishing marks or frame number, then would be
happy to reunite you with it.)Otherwise, will report to the cops as recovered to see if they can trace
an owner.Rob

Sorry, I posted to the shuffle thread instead of here.
I think with so many tourney's and proper weather there is 100% no need for a summer league. It's not like we're not going to play in the summer! Don't you guys remember polo with no league? It was fun, and relaxing, and not quite so competitive. We can still play 24/7 without a league.
I think the league could get in the way of tourneys could get in the way of the league, etc...
I say London's bike polo league V2.0 should start in October. It gives us all something to look forward to!
Also gives all time to play with lots of people, gives new players a chance to find their footing and meet people, it allows us to fly off to tournaments around the world (already posted so far: Rouen, Manchester, ECMC, EHBPC's, Worlds, Paris, Munich) and make casual teams, see what works, and generally relax a bit about polo. There will be enough to do this summer and I fear that a league may end up being a drag or dragged on because of people's other plans.
Let's just play polo this summer!
Plus, saying the league is optional isn't really true. People want to be involved and on top of that if London is league-centric like it was this winter (when it didn't really matter) it will scare/bore off new potential players.
