Interested in rim recommendations for a front dynamo hub for touring. Wanting something sturdy (front rack) although figure much of the weight will be on the rear. Want black rims and be good to have disc specific. Current rims are Bontrager Duster Elite TLR but wondering if there's something that might not be so heavy (rims are apparently 550gm). Suggestions gratefully received

Looking to get dynamo wheel for my front primarily for touring (needed to keep electronics charged) but also potentially using it for keeping lights running around the city.
There's a threads for dynamos which I'll be pouring over but keen to hear recommendations for rims. Wheels have disc brakes so no braking surface needed. I've always had alloy wheels but intrigued by going the cheap(er) carbon rims from direct sources although concerned these are optimised for weight and aerodynamics rather than strength...Anyone willing to give their 2p worth?

are pretty Insta friendly at the moment, probably struggle to find for £200 though.
Evans currently have SWorks on clearance if you're looking for SPD friendly

Hackney Cycling Campaign has been running a bike library offering families the chance to try out family bicycle equipment. It's a great initiative getting more young families on bikes. Unfortunately someone broke into the garage over the last few days and stole 1 ladies bike, yellow double Croozer trailer, 4 Hamax rear seats. It's a real shame is this is a setback in a great initiative for getting more young families on bikes. Please do get in touch if you hear anything.

Not sure if Labour really wants electoral reform either...Turkeys rarely vote for Christmas
