Panasonic NV-GX7 camcorder - mini-DV format, quality construction (aluminium, no flex/cheap plastics!), Leica Dicomar lense, flash, hotshoe, SD Card capability, 1.2MP recording, plethora of DV/Analogue input/outputs etc etc. Comes with Samsonite Bag, spare large-capacity battery, 4 unopened Sony tapes, it's original battery and charger, power adaptor, computer cable etc. I'm sure I've still got the remote, instructions and box somewhere but I'd need to dig through the loft to make sure.
Collection welcome from Sussex or central London or if you want to see it working beforehand
It's a little thing and fits nicely into the hand - it got 9/10 reviews in the press when I bought it and cost me just short of £900 about 4 years ago. It's in great condition (only really used for 1 holiday and 2 births, never been on a bike!) and I'm after somewhere north of £150 for it - make me a reasonable offer if you're interested before I get the boxes together and ebay it on Sunday...

Managed to coax my old digital camera into talking to my laptop - couple of quick pics before I can get my nikon back next week.

asm - the rear is/will be a conversion - I had to take the ss wheel + spacers off as TIm wanted a test ride and I haven't the right chain. This'll be included. If I don't sell as a whole then I'm tempted to split and maybe keep the wheels, esp the front! (reality will probably bite and I'll sell, there's little chance of me building another bike any time soon - got to sort my wife's retro Cannondale Beast Of The East s/s project first...)

Despite my best efforts I'm just not going to get the time to finish, let alone ride this so I thought I'd offer my just-started single speed project bike here before breaking it up and flogging the bits on ebay seperately...
It's a Cougar 60cm (to be confirmed when I can find my measure) Italian steel frame in pink and yellow (!) - same colours as the paintjob on this bike here only more pink, less yellow, long profile stem with chopped profile bars, generic saddle / seatpost, campag headset, Shimano 105 cranks, SPD's, front brake + rear cassette (I'll throw in a single speed rear cog + spacers - I think it's a 16T) but you'll need to change the chain, and MTB Suntour XC Pro front and back levers (they need longer bolts though). The wheelset - on the front a Zipp 303 on pretty much a brand new Hope hub and a Campag Moskva rear rim on shimano hub. The frame is ding free with the odd scratch on the decals, wheels are true etc.
It'd take a minimum of work to finish off - just need to change the cassette, a new chain, a rear brake if you're fussed and it's good to go. I'll get some photos taken today and will mail them to anyone interested - mail jwoffle@googlemail.com. With two kids, a bitch of a commute and a house to renovate there's just no way I'm going to get time to even finish it off, let alone play on it.
I'm looking for £200 which is basically what I paid for it. Collection / viewing possible in EC2 during work hours. Any questions etc.
Cheers
Joe

I've got a large 1990's Cougar if you're interested - basically everything except wheels - frame with seatpost / profile stem + hacked bars, currently with front brake only (Suntour pro lever), Shimano 150 cranks, campag headset. I've also got the rear 105 brake, derailleurs, 105 STI shifters and the other Suntour Pro lever. It's an italian CroMo frame.
I think it's a 60cm frame but I can get exact measurements tomorrow if you're interested. Mail me at address in profile...

One things on the whole cycle2work thing - avoid Halfords.
I work for a small firm (<75 UK employees) and I'm trying to guide our HR bod through signing us up with someone half decent. With Halfords it seems that the bike you buy is limited by scheme size with only those with more than 100 people signing up getting anything outside Halfords stock range. I think this a relatively recent change.
We looked at Velorution (sp?) and a couple of others 'open-source' schemes but it looks like we're signing up with Evans on the promise that we can get whatever we want - I'm after a folding commuter so it looks like a Bike Friday or Airnimal are going to be the best bets (there's a fixed Airnimal that I quite fancy copying)...

maybe I ought to put it in the swaps / wanted? Hadn't really thought about getting round to it as I'm currently trying to sort a folding commuter through cycle2work.
I got a Cougar without really knowing owt about them - I just needed a road bike when we moved and I had a longer commute and it was on budget. It was sold as a tt / tri bike - came with decent wheels and reasonable groupo which i knew something about so I figured I could swap the frame out at a later date. It's a yellow / pink flourescent combination(!), a few scratches, a little union jack sticker and another sticker with "acciaio crmo" (like the black mercxx up there ^). From digging about, the model of rear campag carbon rim (which is now discontinued) and help from Winston et al in another post I figure it must be one of the later Dolan frames but that's only a guess...
I'm 5"11 with an 31" inside leg - I think the frame's a 58cm and it fits with a fair amount of seatpost but I'm just too used to having more clearance on the top tube - used to ride a tiny hardtail mtb and having to adjust to the larger frames...
I'll get some pics taken and post over the weekend.

Not sure if it's a bargain or not being (relatively new to ss/fixed) but given they go for serious money new maybe £120 for a 1980ish fame isn't bad:

does anyone know much about Cougar bikes? I've got a (too)-big Cougar in fetching flourescent pink and yellow that I bought on ebay a month or so ago as my ss commuter project for £150. It's italian cro-mo and came with 105 groupo, campag carbon fibre rear rim on Shimano and zipp 303 front wheel on hope. From the now discontinued rear rim (forget the model) I think it's a late 1990's model.
I know absolutely nothing about them and google's not been able to help either...

if you want it THAT badly I've got family in the US - and they'd probably ship it on if I asked really nicely...
