thats why on my thing i use factory cheapo 225/60/16 bridgestone potenza's. touring tyre so even with wheelspin action they last a while.
although not really recommend with 400+hp going to the wheels.

supposed a 2jz will slot straight in, even in n/a form they go well. although will keep it relatively stock. as richie will chime in i'm over modified older cars.

good chance i'm going to buy this old girl 1976 Corona Mark II in mint condition off a mate $AUS 1500, seats have had covers since new. original 4M and auto. probably just dump it and keep as a nice daily cruiser.

Bore broke, hydro locked that cylinder, broke the rod, which broke the aux shaft, which broke another rod, which finished destroying the engine.
Said bore being in a cast iron red block, so safe to say the pressures involved were high.
Chap in question has taken it very well- considering the amount of money that annhilated itself in a fraction of a second.
He's now going to drop a 2JZ in instead.
2jz much much much betterer/cheaper option
don't waste money spraying car. buy another one and swap everything over, easy peasy.

I think i must have underestimated the power of that 4 cylinder Volvo if it's running in the 6.8's, what power would you need for that?
that rx3 is a steel bodied car with glass, i think prob 1400kg or 3000lb.
i'd hazard a guess that the volvo would be minimum 1600 fwhp, but much lighter car.

not a great deal 0.1-0.2, mistake above, only 20psi

in other news, raced the last couple weekends. cars stagnating at 11.35@119mph with 1.54 60 ft. after some calc's the convertor is slipping 11-13% up top. so auto guy is pulling it out and getting it re-tweeked and re-stalled down to 4000 rpm.

end of a crappy day at the strip, only managed 11.43 with no clean passes, grip issues then auto shifting early and buzzing limiter.
