he's not a team player though is he?
the interview with jens voight was quite revealing in how team csc works so well, he was genuinely stoked for sastra's win and felt that it was his win too due to the Team effort. no egos, no infighting, just a realisation that to be successful in the tour is a team effort (they went on non cycling team building weekends as part of their training). maybe evans could win in a team but not many teams would tolate his childish behavior.
it's a shame Ciolek didn't get the win in paris having played a part in Cavendish's wins.

I would have thought that it was all the more reason to go on one.
No excuse for what that copper did and i hope they take him to the cleaners, but IMO Critical Mass does more harm than good as far as promoting cycling goes, since it just seems to piss off everyone else so much that it makes other road users despise bikes more than ever
Said it better than I could.
Also what someone said about not being anti-cop. I've had some interactions with the police in my time (on both the wrong and right sides of the law) and everytime the Police have been professional and honest and sometimes even quite nice. I don't doubt bad policing goes on (that video demonstrates it) I've just not ever been subject to any.

My dad has had frame before and just stripped off individual layers of paint in the hope that decals are underneath or even the trace of them. Its suprising how many times hes picked up a shitty condition handpainted frame only to find out its something awesome. I guess you take the risk of ending up with some unknown frames though.
Still nice frame.

Cable routing would beg to differ...
EDIT: Unless you mean 'STI' in the broad sense encompassing Ergo, and effectively meaning there aren't downtube shifters?
I did mean it like that. Sorry I'm not very up to date on modern bike parts. Yesterday I got my first road bike that doesn't have downtube shifters (Shimano 600 STI).

You only got ITV broadcast so more likely you never even saw Cadel interviewed as they would be too busy talking about Cav, talking about Boardman's past achievements or reviewing the wine found in the local area.
Did Eurosport get any good Cadel interviews? I don't remember seeing any.
Or anyone for that matter?
I'm not knocking Cadel but I think he was just too stressed to deal with the press full stop. Nothing wrong with that but its hardly ITV's fault.

hmmmm.... I need a job but can't start till mid to late August (don't know exact dates yet it all depends on a miriad of factors). Its really not worth me applying right now as I've no idea when I'm available.
Anyway thread is bookmarked till later. Although I suspect you'll have found someone by then.
