I feel riding without makes me more assertive and less prone to crash.
Hey if that works for you then great. I don't feel (or ride) any different riding with or without a helmet.
I just like the wind in my hair and/or wearing cool cycling caps. sometime i'll wear a helmet but not often.
Interesting, why do you sometimes feel like wearing one?

Can you use V-brake levers with non-V calipers?
Surely V levers pull through more cable so will be too sharp?
I should probably add I don't know much about V brakes.

Sorry, I should have thought about that. It was a dick move to post whilst the stage was still underway and I will be more circumspect in the future.
Although, to be fair, in a thread about an ongoing race, there is a good chance that there will be information about the progress. And when do details and results stop being spoilers? It's not as if a poster is going to know when everyone has had a chance to catch up on the days action and therefore be able to discuss it freely.
Yeah I know but its not hard to add a little bit of text before posting something that may be a spoiler.

All of 'em. This ain't Formula 1, something happens every day, be it a surprise escape, a bunch sprint. If you have to prioritise then make sure you don't miss Alpe d'Huez - there can easily be a fight for the stage, a fight for KoM and a fight for GC all going on at the same time at different points on the mountain.
+1
I watched most of last years tour live (in Australia its on overnight on SBS).

Respect. Also I go faster without the seatbelt (which totally ruins my aerodynamics).
