The wall was 6.9m long and 2.75m high with one notch to accommodate a ceiling joist, about 14 sheets of plasterboard (obv. now cut) and some extra metal studs.

Yes; the shelves slide off and each upright is 2 pieces that screw together so about 1.1m long. Everything would fit in a regular car. PM me to arrange pickup, I'm quite flexible on timing.

I've just moved and can't use these anymore. 2 chrome wire shelving units, used for clothes mostly so almost like new. Load capacity 150kg per shelf.
2100mm x 450mm x 1200mm (HxDxW) - 6 shelves with 1 translucent shelf liner
2100mm x 450mm x 900mm (HxDxW) - 7 shelves with 1 translucent shelf liner
These are about £140 each new. £100 for both, collected in SE16?

Which wall plugs should I use to attach shelves to plasterboard which has 90mm rigid insulation attached to it? Would it be better to find the metal studs behind and use very long screws (not sure if this will be possible with shelves layout?)

I need blinds, quite a lot of them. Thinking pleated / honeycomb for insulation, or maybe just plain roller. White. Not blackout but not sheer either, something in between. Silent Gliss looks nice but 💰💰💰. Any other companies I should look at?

Thnx all who commented. It's hard to summarise the past years of dancing with planners, banks and builders but below are 5 images.
We could only afford this because we bought it cheap; it was badly listed and there were legal issues with a freeholder. It also helped the costs were spread over so many years. And I did a lot myself: planning negotiations, daylight calculations, party wall, project management, design details (e.g. CNC cut spiral staircases)... We are very lucky to have a good architect, structural engineer and an amazing contractor. I learned a lot, much of which I'm hoping not to need again anytime soon. When it's over, I will probably write up a more detailed account of this.

Bought a shop with dilapidated outbuilding in Surrey Quays 5 years ago. Took a while to get planning and money to convert the outbuilding into a 2 bedroom house, the shop will be our studio (my partner and I are artists.) Contractor has been on site for exactly 1 year now and we’re moving next month. Never wanted such a big project but it’s the only way we could afford to own in London. May at some point write up some list of mistakes I made.
