I was wondering where I recognised him from... it looks like a guy who jumped a red light at Angel (on a bike) a few years ago and knocked the cyclist in front of me clean off her bike, buckling her wheel. Accident, of course, and not fun for the poor middle aged lady (or this chap, I imagine).

pretty sure this guy is / used to be 'on here'.
/canadian dave? izzat you?

I really like these bullseye military/officer Omegas. I think theyI have good faith in this seller that his watches are legit - I very nearly bought one about 6 years ago and he was really great answering questions. I think the one I nearly got was a Suveran, which was a specific Swedish officers' model. Argh, I would love this one too. do not need more watches

Question: I have an original Mondaine Stop to go (they have recently re-issued, mine is the older, better proportioned version). I'm thinking of selling it. It's in perfect working order, has no scratches on the crystal and a brand new strap. New version is £450? Given mine is out of production, looks better and very rare, possibly more. Given you can buy a brand new one that for most people is identical, probably less. It's a lot of £$ for a quartz, even one with a fancy mechanism - I love it, but don't wear it often enough and I am trying to use £$ for more sensible things than sitting on my shelf in a horological format. Ebay seems to be hit and miss (£160 for one in bad shape in 2011 to £400+) thoughts?

What size are you normally, and what size do you think you need from Gustin? I was thinking about ordering some (I would need bigger than that too) but I don't know if they'll be long enough...
Result of a failed size experiment for sale here.
Gustin Cone Pima Fire 33L 34W Straight

Too small. Sad face.
