2012 web hosting recommendation please -
I have a web address that I use purely for email, it's currently with Just Host. I don't use it for anything other than as my primary email account (it forwards to gmail, who I can also use to send emails with the website address).
It needs renewing - any suggestions? Good, cheap, no effort, preferably has privacy so that a whois lookup shows their name instead of mine (is that possible? I think so...)
Thank you

both great frames. I have a nigel dean tourer which is my favourite frame, and I once bought a perthus for a friend which is still going very well. People worry about the 753 stays on the perthus being a) chromed and b) thin, but I think if you look after them and don't let them rust they are fine (certainly my friend has had no problems).
good luck with the sale, have a bump.

I have 2 SKS hoses, like this.
One is broken, the rubber hose has actually broken. It could be repaired by someone with patience, a pair of heavy duty long nosed pliers and good forearm strength. As you can buy replacement adaptors only, there must be a way to fit it I think.
**This is free to anyone who wants it. **(You've got to collect it, PM me)
One is perfect, brand new condition. As posted above, they sent me two, one which I have fitted and one which is sitting on the side.
This is "for sale" for a £10 donation to lfgss.(PM me)

Mavic MA3 700c rear wheel hand laced to system x single speed hub, 18 tooth freewheel good condition, barely used, runs true: £45 ONO

I've still got the front hub on this thread, can't remember if it is 32 or 36 hole though, I'll check (can't be bothered to count on screen, I keep losing track ha)

as above -
I'd like an old (but preferably undamaged) pair of mudguards to fit 27" wheels (think that normally 700c guards will also fit (?)), preferably in silver, preferably cheap - can be dirty etc but I'd like to be able to clean polish them up to look smart.
Also a 26.4mm seat post of any description, with a new style (not ancient separate seatpost/clamp) clamp...
Thank you
PM please :)

[apologies for repeating WVM....!] go to www.moneysavingexpert.com and read about which is best - you can get a variety of good deals (for you probably 0% on new purchases might be good, as it is effectively an interest free loan AS LONG AS you have paid it off before the interest free period runs out

buy langster, put brake(s) on (2 if singlespeed) and ride. Sell in the summer for the same as you bought it for (bike may or may not have devalued, depending on how you ride it / look after it, market will have picked up due to people wanting summer bikes).
Spend the time learning what is worth spending £ on / how to build / what to build. Buy new bike in september when you come back to oxford...
(i skim read your posts, apologies if I misread something, don't think i did though)
