Aidan, why sell it at a reduced price? Given the inference that its only numpties that shop there, I could raise the prices and make even MORE money.
Hell, I could give up the dayjob and run that mo' fo' - I could be Evans franchiser of the year! The fame, the accolades, the sales conference in Swindon...

I've just won a competition at work and some kind but misguided person has given me £100 of Evans vouchers. Whilst £100 to spunk on my fixie is a godsend, I've had a brief look on the Evans website and their selection of track stuff is limited to err...nothing.
Things I'd like/want are: some track bars, a cool BMX brake, new bar tape (Brooks), maybe a new wheel (Velocity/DT Swiss/Ambrosio rims/nice hubs). Anyone have any suggestions on how best to spend my vouchers / get the stuff I want?
I fully expect serious and stupid answers. Bring em on.

Or maybe Frank Kozik?
OK I'll stop hijacking this thread...

^ I don't think you're ever going to persuade the creative director of a car magazine to that way of thinking :oP
There are no absolutes in life. Whether or not a car thread should exist on this site is a different question. It's sparked a lot of interest, that's for sure.
(Le Car: agree with the Caterham, perfect track day car. I'd love a DS as a 'practical' car - if it were anywhere near practical).
I easily do more miles per year on my bikes than I do in my car, but I acknowledge the need for one.

First london fixed gear stack (i.e. in london, riding a fixie). Why? Cos I was late for a meeting and didn't shave off enough speed to anticipate fuckwit moves on her behalf. Lessons learned: be able to skid both sides, maybe reduce chainlength (currently in the 80s).
Was more concerned about getting myself out of the path of oncoming traffic. Lucky nothing was behind me - that's a busy junction and not often the case. Quite scary if I think about it, so I won't think about it.
