I just got home, and I've never felt so relieved to have a hot shower and jump into bed.

I left just before Kings Cross and went to meet a mate in Camden - made a big puddle on the floor (only rainwater) and attracted a lot of stares. Didn't realise how cold I was getting though, and had to ride back to Brixton.

Great ride, despite the weather, cheers to the people who organised it.

A company I used to write for got bought a little while ago, so I got a bonus. Basically I have enough cash for a decent set of hubs, crank and bottom bracket in my PayPal account, and want to spend it on something useful.

You think that's a mish-mash? I've changed my mind on this about 10 times already :)

To be honest, the non-standard chainring thing has put me off the cranks a little anyway.

Debating what to use now - thinking Paul hubs, Phil cog, Phil BB and Campagnolo Record track cranks.

What could you do except hand it in though?

I can think of several ways that keeping one of those could go very wrong...
