really, who cares? What does it matter if you have a few more or less green dots under your name (which isn't even yours). Whoever considers this as ego boosting or important should better get on his/her bike and ride a bit more.

Scott, this sounds really bad. First your bike gets stolen and now this... I really hope things will get better for you soon and they can get the scan sorted quickly. If not we may have to start a collection here for you to go private. (Remember you have to take out all the metal for an MRI scan).
Don't worry too much about the business. Waiting a bit longer just makes your bags more rare and precious.

had a dodgy oyster card that sometimes worked and sometimes didn't for years. Never paid on the tube, always jumped the barrier or went trough with other people. if caught I could always say the bloody thing wouldn't work and I am in a rush. But obviously don't use the tube much(I have a bike).

yeah strange day. I was riding like shit today for some reason. Scraped along a car with the handle bar (underestimated the space in between). No real damage due to fairly thick bar tape but driver was shouting abuse. Then nearly fell over at a traffic light for no real reason... I guess I should sleep more. Or the day was just jinxed.

I am in. Live just off Holloway road and ride home every evening from work in Hackney.

Most people obviously ride with messenger bags (getting one as well, hurry up scott) but I also want a rucksack. Need one with an inbuild pocket that fits my 15 inch apple laptop. Had a look at the Rapha one today but not convinced. It has a a padded pocket but that doesn't close at the top. Needs to be more protective.

There was a big accident on Holloway road today. Blocked from Highbury Islington to about where the university is. Tent in the middle of the road and a massive truck on the side. I asked the copper and he said it was a cyclist run over. Apparently dead. Quite disturbing and sad. Always trucks. I came home around 9pm and thought it just happened. But was told that the road was already closed around 6pm. Does anyone know more?

Thanks Hops. I don't mind a bit of soul but its not really relevant. But I definitely want BIKES, not cars or Motorbikes that make my life difficult when I am on the road myself. (Unless its big and heavy stuff obviously). I am looking into it.
