Honestly, I don't think the canal is a good idea. very narrow. I already find it hard to ride just by myself, let alone in a half drunken state with 30 people at night. Also populated with drunks and other unpleasant characters. prefer open road

figured it out. seems to download fine with firefox. with safari it just opens.

yup. opens on a mac in windows media player. but no idea how to download it. would quite like to keep it. Let me know if someone figures out how to download on Mac.

velocity boy Can I pay for the laminating to happen? Is that being cheeky?

maybe we use some just as postcard and some we laminate individually. Not sure how much that will be. I think Service poit or other copy shops do it like restaurants often laminate their menus.

I found out from the printer that we can actually print both winning cards for free. 2500 of each back and front.
Stock would be like normal postcards. So not laminated in plastic but I guess that could be done individually if someone wants it.

would be laminated but not gloss. Sorry have to go by what the main job is as we are just printing this on the side. But at least its free.

Slamm, It would also work to put both of Rob's designs together on one side and yours on the other. But i will check with the printers if there is a chance to put on both double sided (they work in mysterious ways).

would be printed high quality offset on normal 350gsm semi gloss postcard stock. Not sure what spoke cards are normally printed on (as a proper fakenger I never had any) but its obciously not laminated in plastic or whaterproof. Just something to consider

on Hatton Gardens in Clerkenwell. Very close to the Duke of York. They could store them there for a while as well.

by the way, I can't send them off or distribute them. Can only print the 2500 and maybe drop off the boxes somewhere. Hope the client doesn't decide last minute to print a forth card so I have to disappoint you all (unlikely to happen). So far there are only 3 which leaves place for ours.

Anyway, I have Slamm's artwork (tubemap bike) which is all fine. Its only one side. So we have two options here:
1) print that image on both sides and do the other winning entry by RJM (model kit) at some later opportunity (I have only space for one card at the moment)
or:
2) print Slamm's image on one side and RJM's image on the other.
Thats obviously more democratic but depends if you both are happy with that solution.

maybe it got lost in the previous discussion. Just wanted to mention it again. I can print one of the winning spokes cards for free (both sides full colour) in a quantity of 2500. Have A6 area space on a printing plate.
But would need the artwork by tomorrow (Wednesday). Here the specs:

• needs to fit into A6 format (can be smaller or more narrow)
  
• put cropmarks and add bleed
  
• in cmyk
  
• all text/fonts converted to paths.
  
• file format pdf or eps
