You'd be safe using anything simillar from a Tack Shop (as in horse and pony tack shop) but it's likely to cost you more.

I highly doubt that VB would make a profit out of the £3 asked, I agree with many previous posters that it is a resource that far outweighs the asking price. I do not like the idea that VB for all his efforts has to shell out every month to keep this up and running for us.
I for one, like many I suspect have found the forum to provide me with much more than a group of people to chat bike to. Thanks to the forum I have expanded my social network, improved my fitness, had a trusted resource at my fingertips for all my needs, and learned a wee bit ;)

wow that really sucks, poor you and your poor kid!! Brick lane definately worth a shot and the other usual places (ebay / gumtree). do you have your serial numbers? i know that's nerdy but I have had to quote mine to the police to get their aid in the past.
I will keep an eye out for sure.. fingers crossed for a safe return.

Myself my 3 bikes and my Greyhound are looking for a room, flat or studio. Near a park and preferably with a back garden.
I am a keen gardener and a decent cook prefering dinner parties to house parties. Dara is a very docile and well trained retired racing hound who will be qualifying as a PET (pets as therapy) dog in the coming year.

Up to £500 pcm.

I've just adopted the greyhound I sponsor and he is due to come live with me the first week of may -

hahaha.... its not 100% mostly it will matter that everyone gets on and the new person isn't a total slob. The house currently has an amazing vibe and that is something everyone wants to keep :)
I will be moving the first of weekend of may (2 /3) so that would work well :)

We have a double bedroom available from May 3rd in a 5 bedroom house in Stamford Hill. Room is on the ground floor, has lovely wooden floor boards and is unfurnished.

You will be sharing with two girls and two chaps (Signe, Johanne, Jamie and Sam) in their late 20s.

Great house: big kitchen , front living room, two bathrooms & WCs, outside garden incl gnome, wooden floors throughout. (See photos further down the page.)

Great location: 8mins walk from Seven Sisters tube (victoria line); 2mins walk from South Tottenham Train Station; 10mins walk from the River Lee with it´s many houseboats, Springfield Park & Hackney Marshes, 5mins bus from Stoke Newington, 10mins bus from Dalston.
(it takes me 20 min cycling to get to the city, there are two other cyclists in the house but as i am leaving the tools and track pump are going)
I have had a lovely time in this house and would HIGHLY reccommend it to anyone.

I don't have a massive budget, (hence the desire for someone local) but can discuss swapping product as part of payment at least this first time. Jaw is broken in two places, and will be wired shut tomorrow for 48 weeks, this after they retrieve the piece of tooth that I a) shattered then b) inhaled.
