when you put on new tyrews do u make sure that they are covered in either talc or wqashing uo liquid? this makes them go a lot easier and may help get rid of your problem.... now back to the subject, any tyre recomendations?

im picking up my new wheels from blb tomorrow and need to get some reasonably priced tyres to go on them, preferably black with no colour but i dont mind if they are coloured and not too expensive, also id like to be able to pick them up from blb so they need to sell them, anybody got any ideas?

you only get the chance to get a first fixie once so id save up for a while then get one of those amazing vintage track bikes from blb, or if you could just get the bianchi pista.

id get a ron cooper, hes english, thats local. he dosent ever use jigs because he thinks they put pressure on the bars and stuff and he made my fixie one of the last he made for gillott.

i live in st. reatham myself, but its so close to everywhere in south london so i dont really notice. i see what u mean about oxford street... but i still hate it, one good route is st john street, it cuts straight from the meat place all the way up to the top of city road, really usefull somtimes, another thing to remember is how easy it is to get all the way from blackfries bridge all the way to london bridge and even tower bridge by going along southwark st.

oh yeah, as for routes through london, try and avoid oxford street as theres always loads of buses and taxi's on it and nothing goes very fast down it, even on a bike. other than that just skip loads of lights and you should get where you want to pretty fast.

come over towards camberwell and brixton, south london is where its at. but then again im probably just saying that. you should really head towards east london, around brick lane and such, thats where everything really happens, but only if you one of those "hipster" types.

i know they sell spokes individually and such in apex cycles, which is in clapham, if your from south london its easy to get to.

so are we ever gonna get pictures of the bike in question?
