i do like having spoke lengths rounded off to the shorter one ... and end up building wheels with more spoke tension.

and use one of these so the nipples don't get naughty when you tighten them up:

best thing ever. i'm sure you can strip the spoke and nipple threads using this before the nipple gets rounded off or squashed.

i saw it at the RCA show last year, it doesn't actually work. you need to run a tub on it and when you fold it, you need to let all the air out. a totally impractical design IMO.

that is fucking ridiculous. not the first time i heard about bike vandalism in brick lane, but this is just way over the top! i think i feel pretty much the same as chris crash at the moment... and it also makes me sick that it seemed that no one seemed to give a shit at the scene when it was happening? sure it can't be right if someone's trashing a bike locked to some railings. or maybe someone called the po po and they were too "busy" to even take a look?
