photoben After going for a long ride this evening, gonna get some clipless for the dynamo. These Atacs seem the best bet, can anyone tell me what the difference between between the Allium and the XE please i.e. are they worth the extra £20?
Alum are the old design and they will last forever, I've had similiar for the past seven years, the XE is part of the 2004 range with modified rails/body design.
XE weigh 50 grams less.I have the carbon-body pedal in old and new models and I can say they are both superb.
You will need to get some practice in before going on a mega-huge ride, especialy with regards to cleat pacement. You do not want to ride forty+ KMs and find that your cleats are in the wrong place or ride 200 and find you can't get out of them when you finish.

natureboy
dicki less shouting more cycling less shouting more cycling
more roads, fewer staircases!
I disagree, the staircases made it funny as fuck, this wasn't set out to be a long ride in the countryside.
Apropos shouting, I have access to two sets of walkie-talkies and will bring them next time.

No, he was loitering with intent in Primrose hill at 4 AM with a bunch of his thug mates, playfighting alpha-male bullshit.
He must have been the runt of his group, he had a Ralpha London fields hat on so to his friends he was the eccentric one who liked bicycles and weird shit like that.
He just took a unhealthy intrest in badriders custom-jobby and wouldn't leave off banging on about "give us a ride mate" and you know if he'd set off down that hill you'd not see him again less you chased him down and d-locked him off the bike.
Just don't need that shit at 4-5 in the morning. -

We should do the bridges ride bi-monthly, it was a good social ride.
If everyone tells a friend we'll get 60 next time.Suggestion: what about a canal ride one Sunday morning from out-west to mile-end landbridge? Definitely a chilled ride or somebody will end up in the canal.
Thanks for the video mareeoh.

Yeah it was actually a Halfords 10 speed racer from 1986.
