Damn, i lost my last post when i tried to edit...
I just wanted to add that i think its important to do this vote before the league starts as people may change their vote depending on where they/others stand in the league. We may not find out how many places until the league is almost over.
(my initial point was it would be interesting to see what the vote would be after the format was decided.. i was basing my vote assuming 18 team round robin - which is (imo) the fairest way to determine the league winner - we could now potentially be playing two very separate leagues - this will definitely change my original vote of 1 spot for the winner)
but we cannot plan for all scenarios otherwise we'd still be voting when we should be playing :)

from the other thread: should this be discussed/agreed before further decisions on how many?
thank youIf yes and there will be 1 (or 2 or more) places, should it be on the condition that it is the same 3 players in the team. If the winning team/s wants to make a team change they should have to qualify in the same way everyone else would have to. What does everyone else think - does this need to be in the vote?

f yes:
5.2>How many spots should be allocated;
A; All of them
B; Half of them
C; Top 1 only
D; Top 2 only
E; Top 3 onlyok, seeing as there is definitely going to be 1 or more, all those people who want 'none' will be voting for 1 (or wont vote at all)
the rest of the votes will be split amongst the others
i was just thinking out loud for those people who want 'all' or 'half' or three' - anything that is 'more than 1' basically - they'd be better off all voting for a 'more than 1 option'

London polo will never stop to amaze me, no one does usully anything, but when some one does it, the rest just bitch/moan/complain.
Rik, are you complaining? ;-)
I think you'll find all my posts here have been clarifying and highlighting things that could become a future issue if not raised now. All positive points in trying to get the best out the league - Same reason as why other people are posting - they are the ones that care. This shouldn't be confused with 'moaning'!

Dave, Ray & I went past this at about 9.45pm, must have been just afterwards. It looked really nasty with so many emergency vehicles at the scene, we had no idea a cyclist was involved :(
I always find southbound OKR so much worse than northbound for cars speeding/getting too close, particularly after 7pm and the bus lane is open to all traffic.
Best wishes to Jamie - heal up soon.

This vote is stupid. It assumes all teams formed before the league will want to play together at the Euros, and it excludes people who did not play in the league from trying to play the Euros.
I think its a great 'prize' for the winners of the league so I voted yes. I certainly don't think all Euro spots should go this way (so that it won't exclude non-league players or changing teams). If the vote is yes, there will be a further vote for how many.
If the winners get auto-entry (and if they choose to accept it), it will make for a better Euros-qualifying tourney without them :)

.....but i was just sticking up for a minority where the 'never played together' rule was being enforced a bit too hard ie not allowing DT and Sarah to play together is a bit of shame...its not a big deal to any of us if they did play, but to them esp Sarah, it means the polo world!
aww! that is really sweet :) :)

The lady from the council said that they have permanently switched off the Tanner Street lights due to constant abuse of the light box.
I fear this could end up being the case with Newington as well. However, she is going to send someone to have a look. Probably not in time for tomorrow.
I think I can get A4 pouches.. let me check the stationery cupboard... ;-)

Me and Dave are looking for a 3rd. Reading the OP, it seems it is just no 'established teams'. It was only Em that confused the issue...
I'd really like to be able to play with Dave. Surely he poses a bigger threat to the teams above if he decides to make up a super-team. We just thought it would be a bit of fun to play together (like this tourney is suggesting being a bit of fun?)
It seems like this has turned into a popularity contest unfortunately :(

there was another bike jacking incident in burgess park recently too.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aylesbury_Estate -with apologies to any residents, but if the council workers are too afraid to go to work there...

Just spotted this in a friend's photo album, thought the stars might want to see it!
ah, good times...
Mmmm! Concrete Kisses! That was the 2 v 2 Valentine polo tournament last year where the scoring team had to kiss after each goal. That was the final, in which dt just had to score 10 goals :D
Thanks for sharing the pic hanged_up :)

basing my initial 'yes' vote
not my 'how many' spots vote
