BMX brake lever - (1) - Tektro MX brake lever, fits nitto and others, has a clamp which can be bent to the shape of the bars. Feels flimsy but does the job. Works fine with std road brakes.

My Colnago came with sprints and tubs. The ride was fine but I got pissed off with always having to carry a spare tub with me. That more than negates any weight saving on the wheels. Plus there's the fact that in my experience punctures tend to come in multiples...

53-tooth, though I swapped that 16 for a 19 sprocket when I replaced the sprints with Ambrosio clinchers. But no, not many hills if one stays this side of the Welsh border, more rolling countryside - fast down, fast up...
