Fantastic bike. I just wet my pants.
But how can you live with Cornelo labelled straps?
NOS Binda's are not that expensive. Okay, the right colour may be hard to find.Stem 13 cm from here ?
Quite pricey, but maybe you don't mind...
He's also on Ebay. Please take the valve caps off and angle the bars a bit down ;-)
Binned the valve caps Mr Cheese
Didn't know about Cornelo but now I do ...;)
I'll find some Binda straps ASAP
Thank you for thisThis isn't really finished yet - I usually post the first build to get feedback from more experienced chaps - plus I have some more Cinelli parts in the pipeline
The Pinarello is finished though

Weight loss FAIL.
Your body goes into starvation mode, metabolism slows drastically, then when it's time to eat, WAAAAAYHEEEEEY shovel shit down your gullet like your life depended on it.
Getting some aerobic stuff done before breakfast (but after coffee) is the only thing close to 'fasting' that actually works. Then eat a decent breakfast. Then graze little/often/healthy between meals. Carbs at lunch. Don't eat dinner too late. Be moderate with booze. Save those treats for after the week's long ride.
Lose no more than 1lb per week, or be prepared to put it all back on again. 1lb per fortnight is enough, anyway.
For me its all or nothing - in March I was 86kg by June I was 78 kg by September I was back up to 86kg - July August I lived on McDonalds and Hagen Daz - now I am back on the double cardio - step machine and training ride - x4 per week - that and I bought a fruit making machine - cabbage juice anyone - I find it easy to lose weight but I like periods of idleness too

I last time I was in England I ended up toe to toe with some part time plod in a Porsche who had taken it upon himself to enforce the highway code my crime was not stopping at the white line on a roundabout not like anything was coming mind just he saw it and though he'd make a citizens arrest this is of course why I don't and will never again live in England - the country is full of dick heads

I am thinking about credit card touring around Italy next summer on this - the idea being that I swop out the wheels for clinchers - the saddle for something anatomical - hang saddle and handle bar bags - add a couple of modern large capacity bottles - is there any real reason why I can't - the thing that puts me off about about touring bikes is that they look so slow
-
I generally practice zen and the art of cycling.
I'm pretty mellow anyway and riding my bike seems to mellow me out even more. So when i get cut up or something i just tend to tut under my breath and carry on enjoying my ride.
+1
I might add that presence of mind allows one to 'see it coming' more often than not
