The frame is gorgeous but there is too much red and frankly the brown saddle just don't go - first lose the coloured chain ring bolts - they never look good - build up a pair of classic wheels - campag record hubs to match your record cranks - and some lo pro rims - for tyres simple black or gum wall will do - you probably could get away with a red saddle and red half taped bars - but I'd probably go for black saddle and bar tape - the thing is that that barpole stripe is so eye catching - the bike does really need anything more than a set of tasteful classic components - you wouldnt be the first person to build a bike up then strip it down and build it up a different way

I am 4/5 of the way a Master of Science in Project Management with a major in e-commerce from Boston University - I study on-line - which means I get to study around my job - its tough though as I never put in less than thirty hours a week and sometimes considerably more - the level of education is high as is the standard of competition - I am not a project manager nor will I ever be - I took this degree because I wanted to be a manager - now I realise that I don't want to work as hard as managers work unless I am working for myself - which taking this degree has given me the confidence to do

Yep, I've seen that after I placed my reaction.
Seat stays are different from (other?) Supercorsa's.
Still a great bike though. This is what DMC told me. It is an Olympic Pista which predates the Supercorsa Pista. Apparently it was the last Olympic frame that Cinelli made out of steel and goes back to the early 1990's hence the C-record pista group. This one was bought new in NY in 2000. If anyone has anymore info on these frames I would be very interested.

What no PAULS.????
Having stripped both side of a PHIL hub whilst pulling hard skids
I got a PAUL hub with HUGE lock ring

We made it extra wide so it will never strip out, and it’s easy to get a wrench on it.
On the inside there is a step so if your cog is a little narrow the lock ring will still tighten up against it. -

Good call Wiganwall - people by nature are bigots - although we have largely managed to educate ourselves out of some of our more obvious bigotry - most of us still like to indulge in a little mild bigotry - afterall a little self righteous indignation feeds our egos and makes us feel better about ourselves - any number of perceived outrages committed by non conformest cyclists make us an easy target - and MP and Journos alike feed off this for their own self promotion and to sell newspapers - one of the reasons I like France so much is because thos Fucking French CUNTS don't have this bad attitude towards cyclists and they rarely wet their pantyhose because someone is riding at two miles an hour on the footpath

Damn, this is what I wrote April 20.
A shame it's just a bit too big.
He really did what I had in mind (except the colours).
Too bad that the chrome on the seat lug has to go with a repair job like this...I am pretty sure certain the seatlug was unchromed but I didn't see it before it went off to the menders

Its so that the flats of the drops are at a right angle to your arms when riding. As the are, this could only be true if your shoulders are directly over the bars.
I'd still photograph them flat though :)
When I get the track bars sorted and my compulsory French riding license I'll make sure the bar angles are right for riding..:)

Buddha has said he's looking for a Cinelli pista 2A stem and 67 bars to complete the build.

I'm sure it will be perfect when done.
I am collecting Cinelli parts - there is a red suede Cinelli unicantor saddle just come up on the bay that I have my eye on - eventually I'll have two set ups for this frame one for the street another for the track - thanks for your help with this dwight - it really very much appreciated..:)
