@Turkish Ha! Thought you had that "I've seen you somewhere before.." look.
It was outside the Royal Courts picking up a Thomson X2 in 110 if I remember rightly.

Hello @Mikey5000 - the seatpost is a proprietary size and will be sold with the frame.
What size of Thomson inline do you need? I might have a few.@Nially - frame is still available if you're interested.
-
@wadi2 - I'm going to sell the crankset complete at the moment.

Ok you vultures lets get this turkey carved up :)
I'm bored of this knocking around reminding me of what I could have done. Items are mostly depressingly new so if the prices seem a little off give me a shout and I'll see if I can lower my expectations.
-
no worries @onyerbike - I'll let you know if there's enough interest to split.
-
@Wadi2 - thanks! I've owned some pretty nice bikes over the years - this is definitely one of my favourites. I'll let you know when I put prices up to split.
-
@onyerbike - nope- I have a drilled Alpina fork I can swap over but it has seen a lot more use.

In the spring a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of track, as Tennyson would have said if he was trying to flog a bike on the internet. Unfortunately for an old bastard like me those thoughts of track are few and far between as my free time evaporates in the face of family and work commitments and it's time to pass on this to someone who will ride it.
SOLD
The wheelset is Planet x tubular 50mm, the tubs need to be reglued, and there is a slight deviation in the wheels that will probably need truing - this was on my list of things to do and I had bought a set of 24mm Schwalbe one tubulars which I'll include in the sale. Hubs are planet x, spokes are bladed, cog is currently a 16t Dura-ace. - £210 without the Schwalbe One tubulars £250 with.
170mm Sugino 75dd crank - utterly new, fitted and removed without ever being spun in anger - SOLD with no chainring but Ti bolts

@platypus - the wheels both require new rims they've been braked into tin thin death strips and are several miles away from true.
@M_V - having seen your build threads you're exactly the man for the job - this requires a resurrection. However it weighs about 4 million tons and could cost a bomb to ship up to you - I'll have a look at courier costs.
@user53624 - snappy name :) the bike as a whole is a pretty close to dead, it's definitely a restoration project. If you're still keen chuck me a pm and we can arrange a viewing.

Clearing out the shed, all items are located in Wandsworth and will need to be collected.
Kona Humu Humu rolling carcass... £75
This was purchased from Henry (@eyebrows) too many years ago and has been transformed into its current mutant state by my girlfriend and her unconventional approach to bike care. The wheels are shot, the paint has a fantastic pattern from a lock knocking against it and the chain was last lubricated with vegetable oil (dont ask...) on the plus side it has a new project2 disc fork and bb7. It has awesome potential but I've no time to really get into it.
Islabike Cnoc £125
Awesome little bike that was recently replaced - could do with a little tune up but these things are close to indestructible. Spokey dokeys were added by my daughter to enhance resale value.
Condor Potenza EOM 60cm - damaged £75
Bought from the forum as a complete bike here and will be sold with carbon forks and carbon seatpost. Superlight and excellent fun I bought a slightly better fitting version not long after picking this up and now ride that. I noticed a hairline crack in the NDS seatstay while looking this over, I'll put a pic up tonight but the price reflects the fact this may need to be repaired.
Surly Steamroller disc 59cm - £150 frame, carbon fork + Chris King
I love this frame, I have had it built up with both a 26" disc trucker fork (which was pretty twitchy) and the Van Nicholas SLX carbon fork as pictured (way more relaxed) you can chose either when purchasing. The carbon gives slightly more clearance at the front and during winter I was able to run a pair of 45mm Marathon Supremes for bouncy tyre fun. I also have the unused original Steamroller fork.

Many thanks to all that have purchased - listings updated.
