I think I can see a bend in the right chainstay around the brake bridge.

If you put a straightedge against it (ruler) it would make it clearer.

rear - Continental top contact 1.9 - I've used this in 700 and it absolutely thrives.
front - schwalbe crazy bob 2.35. wall to wall grip and weighs a lot more than the cheapo I was using till now. I will probably switch to a lighter front wheel soon if i keep this.

My BB is really massive, 130+mm! and for a 73mm BB shell.
I can only find OLD Sugino GT BMX cranks or retro Bullseye cranks to fit this.

Brake Pads:
Fibrax cartridge V blocks are a good performance/cost/durability tradeoff. (Chainreaction: 7 quid for holders + 2 pairs of pads.)
Aztec refills seem fine - Using them at the moment and will see how long they last.

I think (I have read on the internet) that stronglight 80/100 are JIS taper. and need quite a long spindle.

I was looking at them to use a ridiculously long titanium BB that I have sitting around.

My hunch is to go for 118mm.

I'm surprised spa cycles didn't know for sure - they are the stringlight kings.
