Just used grease and torque wrench.
Me too. It seems that most bicycle related problems are due to either over-tightening or under-tightening. A torque wrench takes the mystery out of it all.
Hey
The Primato bb needs a good mechanic to install.Err, not really :S Just a bit of thought, some care and commonsense.
Everything I know about bicycles is from taking apart my bicycle as a kid, putting it back together again, Zinn and Sheldon.

Its only gay if you kiss right?
I was told it's only if balls touch...
Glad I'm not the only nerd to have done that.
:D
Nope, I've covered and uncovered and squinted and still they look different shades. Which gets lighter, which darker? Or are you all having me on?
Nope, they definitely are the same! I was convinced they were different but the colour metre on a mac says they're the same.

Not bike-related, but by the nature of being on this forum you all use computers and I know there's quite a lot of arty types who might benefit from a big monitor :)
I'm selling an Acer P203W 20" CrystalBrite Widescreen Monitor in black. I'm selling because I'm skint and bills won't pay themselves...
It's got no dead pixels and no marks on the screen. The letter r came off the Acer logo on the front when I was cleaning it with a microfibre cloth. Otherwise, it's in perfect condition.
It's got 5* review average on Amazon. Pickup in Putney. Cash only. No box by the way. I'm a couple of minutes from a bus stop that serves the 430 bus route, if that's any use. The base detaches so you could wrap in bubble wrap/towels/etc and get it in a big courier style bag. Specs:
Gloss screen
5ms Response Time
1680 x 1050 Resolution
2500:1 Contrast Ratio
View Angle: 160x160
Brightness: 300cd/m2
Analog Input Signal£90 ONO. PM if interested please and I'll get back to you as soon as possible :)

SOLD
[strike]This is back up for sale again (see this original thread). My housemate who was going to buy it has changed his mind and is going to use the bus(!) instead of cycling...
I bought this on eBay last year (see this discussion about it). The plan was to build it up for polo but it's just sat in my parents' garage as I've not really had the time. I did start to dremel off the braze ons but never finished it, and it looks a bit small for me. I'm skint, so need to flog it.
I paid £39. I offered it up in the original thread for £30.
Price drop from £30 to £25!
Pickup Putney, cash only.[/strike]

I've only used aliums, and I've never had a problem with them. If you're just using for riding on the streets, go for aliums, I'd say.
If I had had the money at the time, I might have got the more expensive ones that are lighter, but since I only use them on the street it probably isn't worth it anyway!

Been listening to it for the last couple of days, it's awesome. I'm loving the minimalist-style dnb at the moment.
+1 to whoever posted the nu:tone future sounds of cambridge vol 3 track... good album.

You just need to eat lots.
Seriously, you should be on on something like 5000kcals a day.
Yeah, more than likely I wasn't eating enough. When I was doing that I was eating in an average day:
breakfast - porridge + raisins
morning snack - couple of bananas
lunch - couple of sandwiches/pasta, fruit
after gym - recovery drink
dinner - usually something rice, pasta or noodle based.Hmm... pretty much just carbs :S
I'm well out of my exercise routine at the moment because of exam revision. Getting back into a more sensible routine now.
