hippy I like their blog and this..

if you have that tool hippy it must be completely redundant now. we know you never use the spanner end and your no alcohol policy must be giving the other end a bit of a break too ;)
my tuppence. i used to have a steamroller. it was a wicked frame to ride. ma3k - yours is still very much a bespoke machine

been using risers for a year and love em. but am just gonna try out flats just for a change really. i only miss drops (or bullhorns) on really long rides or really steep hills. risers, and flats, are perfect for city riding. when you get round to it then i recommend cutting em down using pipe-cutter tool.

the commute to the job is proving rich for this thread, before i had even got to brixton this morning i saw two on railton road, tall guy on an old converted raleigh, single speed, then just after a guy an old red condor with red rims. both nice bikes but the pick of them was on kennington road. a guy on a pearly pink mtb conversion (i think - defo not road geometry) with mudguards. really nicely done and put together, chris king headsets and the like. he was wearing one of those rasta style hats

provenrad and his cool rourke frame on brixton high street last night. then pistonator 5 mins later - that bianchi pista concept is one nice bike.
and a lovely white frank herety fixed this morning at senate house. belongs to a friend of mine. has to be one of the nicest bikes in london - good to see it back on the road.

nice one baggy, cool that worked out and sounds like you got a bargain.
i ride Sidi MTB style shoes and spds. means i can walk up to the bar without slipping over. i use road shoes only for proper rides, not all this getting round the big smoke stuff.
that roberts is gonna be an awesome fixie. nice one mate

illy, guys, i am out of the run to brighton - can't make saturday. might do it solo on sunday instead, but will see how head feels.
kelvin, yeah i have done the Isle of Wight the last four years. first time on a slicked up mtb then then last three on my current fixed
BMMF - 48x18. there are no killer hills on the Isle of Wight, only two that are quite hard. otherwise it is just up and down all day. it's a good ride.
i will be doing it this year, with a bunch of mates i have dragged down there the last few years. would be good to see some lfgss lot down there too.
