If you're looking for new ones, Mavic Alpines look good. Also Lake MX100 look solid.
Teva have done a new clipless shoe which looks slick too. Then there's five 10, and all the other shoes which look a bit more skate like.

If you're making your own get some with a thick enough sole to recess the cleat enough. Good to have a strap too.
Always thought the Vans Mountain Edition with strap would be good...
