So, he knocked someone off their bike, laughed then rode off?
No.
He fell on top of Tom when they clashed.
They argued for a bit in the middle of the road before Tom walked off to chill out not realizing the damage.I think a few things were said but the guy didn't seem so bothered and even laughed.
It was completely his fault and he should offer to help Tom get his bike fixed or replaced.

Was it Tom Crowe who was involved?
Yeah and he's really upset. The guy was even laughing at him!
He ripped the tyre right out of his rim when he skidded and fucked the tyre and tube.
And his bars bent round and the dint's on the underside of the top tube.
The guy actually did a U-Turn in the middle of Oxford St without looking. -
I don't know what can come of it, but his bike is knackered and he's devastated.
All because of careless riding.
He said to the guy, if he'd been a bus he'd have killed him.The other guy didn't seem so bothered.
If you are or know who's responsible, it'd be nice to work something out. It's only fair.
-
It happened to my good friend Tom who was working at the time.
He's not happy at all.
Apparently, he was riding behind and overtook on the outside.
The other cyclist turned to the right without looking and took him out.
He was fuming and walked away...not noticing the big dint on his newly restored vintage raleigh track which he works on every day.
If it's the guy I think it is, I saw him 2 weeks ago sat on his bike backwards and riding all the way along Old St from Hackney Road end towards the Foundry...at a busy 6pm weekday! -

Does anybody know the black guy with the small mohawk who rides the cream fixed wheel bike with a front 650c trispoke? (maybe 4/5 spoke)
It involves a crash with another cyclist due to 'above cyclist' not paying attention, a dinted toptube on a vintage Raleigh track frame, and one unhappy courier!!!
Some info would be good.
Thanks.

Be aware of some cyclists feeling frightened of taking over the HGV on the outside.
They feel safe on the left and just need to be aware of the dangers.
It's just as effective to slow down and let HGV's pass, and never undertake.
There's been times when a HGV as tried to overtake me and then turn left.
I have just slowed down (with some shouting at the driver!)
Some cyclist will fear riding the middle of the road.I will be donating 10% of my Paganini sale to this cause.
Should I give the money to Bill? -
Ah damn it! I missed this one. They look awesome.
Another chance?Anyone here work in a shoe store?...
The metal chains that come in a pair of converse holding the label to the shoe would do the trick for these.
I've done it before and gone through lots of stockroom boxes!
Otherwise, I reckon you could get them cheap wholesale. -

Everyone can make a difference.
Thinking only the Government can make differences is wrong.
It's the government which is hammering you with these "eco-bollockings".
They need you to think more about it for yourself and more importantly your children.Try not to feel so pressured by what you see and hear about the environment.
There's a lot of pleasure to be had by considering a better future.
Little efforts count.I think it would really help if you found out more about what your local council are doing to help your environment before being so against it. Find out what's really happening to recycled items etc.
It's down to all of us to make any difference we can.
And it good to have a healthy conscience.Nothing wrong with parsnips either!
If you choose to discover why we are being bombarded with such info, I feel you will understand and even want to get involved.Don't be so against it.

Sorry guys but spoke cards are niche.
Most commuters don't want to touch their wheels let alone place a card in them.
You want to educate unsafe cyclists, stickers plastered every place is more effective.
I think the message will be lost or end up as a laminated flyer.Spoke cards are cool and should still be produced but not as the central pillar of an awareness campaign.
I agree. Spoke cards will be removed. Might as well make a leaflet which can be passed around and also placed in peoples spoke so they can read it when they return to their bike.

I think there's a few things that need to happen here.
Not a definitive answer.
Spoke cards are good as a direct message to the cyclist but sometimes the cyclist is already riding along. How will they get the message until they've parked up and had a spoke card inserted into their wheel. I like the directness but it's a massive responsibility to get a spoke card to every cyclist. (What will happen to all the spoke cards too? I'm sure they won't be kept in wheels. Recycled? Littered?)
The government could do a lot more. They're the people we need to penetrate and push for action. Billboard ads, bus shelter ads, tv ads, newspapers etc.I feel a publicity stunt could be an answer to getting the coverage needed.
If there were lot's of decorated ghost bikes, that would be something.Any ideas which will get press, news coverage? A publicity stunt which will get London thinking?
Writing direct on the streets with sign paint?

Can I take a look Rik? How much? You got a photo of those or something similar?
Dogs: I just saw some green Cambios in BLB and they didn't look too strong. The girl behind the counter convinced me they weren't good enough! Cool!
They didn't spin too great either.
They did have different coloured Sylvans for £22. Pinks, blues, green etc :)Might hold out now for some 2nd hand Superbes....

Too busy lookin' good!
There's no room on London's (any) roads for stupid behavior like this. WTF is he thinking?
