lol! funnier than dan's frame bendage & snappage when he worked for callprint. i wish my frame snapt in a humourous way, but all it did was crack :( better than splitting in two at high speed though, thank my lucky stars.
Apparently quite a few people have had carbon powdercoated (see bikeforums.net), there's a bit of disagreement about whether it's a good idea or not but I'd err on the side of caution unless the frame didn't cost me any money.

Spotted a guy on a grey fixed, cant remember where
Spotted shamim, riding to library bike racks, then outside the library, then inside library, then when I went to meet my mate at the wellington I spotted him again leaving the library.
Spotted a guy on a white fixed possibly conversion with black rear mudguard same as mine, rider wearing backpack, riding thru paradise forum

Yeah, if im around for sure. Im not really a photoenger though.
well dfp, the moa the merria, even if you dont take any photos. you mentioned something about borrowing camera and flash on the other thread? it would be good to have a 'brum fixie photo thread' on here, with pics from 3 or more people. i'm not sure whether to bring the full on backbreaking-weight location studio kit, or just 1 camera and 1 flash... or whether the weather is gonna allow any photogage at all...

Right - I don't know if you still want to meet up with aeronaught to do some photos for Spinwell, but I can't make it today - I've somehow managed to sprain my wrist and strain one of my neck muscles. Since it didn't start hurting until I got home last night, I can't sue the Detrimentals for the thrashing that bassist Bagnall gave me at their gig last night. I'm sure it's directly related but I have no evidence.
It hurts to type this, wrist is absolutely killing, and I woke up about 5 times last night with neck ache :-@
I'm gonna send some texts out to people in case they don't get to read this.

I saw a black guy on a road bike fully kitted out in lycra, at night caning it through the city centre. Fastest ive seen someone ride.
But you want to know the weird thing, his face was painted with glow in the dark paint.
Was a bit surreal but a nice sight none the less.
(this was before it got all snowy by the way)
Lol I would have loved to have seen that!

You can manually 'lock' it, so no water will come out at all. Even 'unlocked' you need to bite on the rubber and simultaneously squeeze or suck, to get the fluid out.
I reckon that last sentenced may get heavily quoted.
you dont bite it, you just place it in your gob and squeeze it

I hope you didnt take that the wrong way, I wasn't having a pop at you for not coming out riding or anything, I just couldn't see anything missing from the bike except for the rider!
It's hard to believe that there's still plenty of snow in lots of places, but then I look in my back garden and I believe...
I'm glad you mentioned grit, it's reminded me I should clean my bike before more damage is caused.
