Vittoria Pit Stop Tyre Sealent thats what it is called. You could use tufo tyres. There bloody expensive but bullet proof.

I use tubs on my Shamals. They are annoying but not too bad for punctures, Continental Sprinter Gatorskins are very good. You can pick them up for about 323 on the interweb. When I put a new tub on I use this stuff you put over the valve that puts a latex foam inside the tub (I cant remember the bloody name) I know your meant to use it once you get a puncture but this seems to prevent them too.

OK, don't make them permanent. How about 'point of impact' or a sticker that looks like scratch. Black cabs are not allowed to operate if there are any bumps or scratches

Instead of cards, get stickers made up so you could tag them as you ride by.

I was topping up the pressure on my rear tyre and the valve snapped off. Because the rims are very deep they have an extension valve, the snap was at the join. This was a new tub, only a week old. I used a track pump so the connection was sweet.

Is this normal or should I ask questions about the guys who glued the tyre ( I won't mention names yet)

Looks like I will need to send them the wheel. I'm starting to think just to sell the front Shamal and the rear hub, and buy some Deep V Velocity. Bugger...

I've contacted so many shops about this, unfortunately due to the age of the wheels (pre 99) no-one has spokes. What to do? How can I find out what size spokes fit this wheelset? AAHHH.

Had a massive blow out this morning and caused the chain to jump jamming the bike up, snapping three of my lovely Capangnolo Shamel bladed spokes.

Does anyone know where I can get replacements? Spoke to Condor and they said they have to order them from Italy. Wouldn't mind something a bit quicker, any suggestions?

Right, all I was doing is putting something out there.They where not my comments, I never knew BB had already covered it.
