Shorter frame and fork (http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/builders/shorter-builders.html)
52 cm top tube centre to centre
53 cm seat tube centre to topSilver paint with purple painted decals, though some marks from a commuter life
Fast back seat stays
Internal lugged fork crown
Chromed driveside chainstay and dropouts (vertical).
Steel type is unknown, I assume it's a high end Reynolds. It is certainly a light frameset.
External cabling for rear brake, for band on front derailleur, two bottlecage mounts.
Mudguard eyelets, currently run with 24mm tyres and mudguards.
Takes 27.2 seatpost. My girlfriend is 5'3" and that's probably the shortest you would want to be to ride this frame. According to the always reliable Dave Moulton sizing chart, if you put a 10cm stem on, it would be suitable for some one up to 5'6".
I'll get some more photos up soon, but here are a couple of it built up.
Includes a very nice Campagnolo headset, and possibly the bottom bracket as well. Gear cable barrel adjusters and seat binder bolt included.
Will be available in about a weeks time when her new frame arrives and I can strip this down.
£125, no postage, based in Mile End. -

I might exchange, looking for something with a 57cm top tube, room for 32-35mm tyres, clearance for standard road chain set, double bottle cages, mudguard points, bsa bottom bracket.
The Trek is set up with 57cm top tube and 13cm stem. I am 186cm tall, I'll measure the max height you could extend it too

Yeah it's a pretty accepted shimergo setup

SOLD SOLD SOLD
For pickup in Mile End,
Most of the parts are brand new or virtually so. I kind of forgot about budget, which is a shame because I now have to sell it despite only riding 50 miles on it. Turns out my knee flares up with wider (aka MTB) q factors, so there is not a lot a can do given the proportions of the frame. It's all in great condition, and I have the receipt and brochure from the original owner.Trek 8700, 1993, oversize carbon main triangle
