Sano Sorry to hear about the guy from Stockwell. Kind of gutted that's going to be redeveloped, I've wasted many hours flowing around that place... But I'm still down to skate. This summer I went to Oregon and skate four concrete parks in a day, including Burside and Pier Park. What a fcking day that was...

don't worry - the main bit stays more or less the same, they're just making the area behind the sausage (where the wooden quarterpipes used to be) way gnarlier...

After looking at the video thread, and seeing the number of skateboarders here, I suggest we start doing sessions!

On other sad news, my friend Jeremy (who designed Cantelowes) was working with some older dude on the redesign of Stockwell, and that guy (sorry can't remember his name) passed away of pneumonia 2 days ago.
Stockwell rejuvenation is going ahead anyway, but this will slow down the other projects they had together for parks all over the UK.

saw some hip tall dude with a beanie on commercial street this morning, riding a smallish white Vivalo, brakeless, white aerospoke in front, purple deepV at the back. One of the cleanest bikes I've seen in London. A bit of a cliché of fixed-gear trendiness but nice.

I got my bottle, but I'm afraid it only protects MY ass, and barely. but it's ORANGE!

for info, I got mine + carbon fork + a set of wheels + a stem and some other crap for £150. There was a big dent on the TT and the fork was a bit crap.

But... I got something is the making if you like sloping TT steel track frames.

nah that's "Sexon super something" or a similar name, one of the 2 new shops (with Blue Lug) that just opened in the Shibuya area. You can see the flowers in the front (when you do a launch party people send you flowers!)

I used to compete a bit 10 years ago and work in the industry (Rossignol) - still really into it, but too many broken bones calmed down my ambitions!
