The worst thing we can do on the streets is to assume that there's some sort of class war going on and adopt stereotypes of people just because we happen to encounter them while they're using a mode of transport that is different from ours.
Some drivers may only be using a car on that day and perhaps the only time that week or month. Many others are simply victims of a motor dependence from which they can't escape. As a user of a vastly superior mode of transport, you can afford to give them some consideration in view of this regrettable victimhood.
As I have said before......... I am not against cars in any way....

A while ago when I was with my mother in her car, she drove over an ASL not realising it until I told her that's she on an Advanced Standing Line, it was genuinely a simple mistake because she wasn't looking for it, she was looking at the traffic, the light, the junction etc.
now she doesn't drive over ASL once she realise her mistake.
so yes, it can be a simple accident.
So it's her fault for not concentrating enough - she should have been looking for it. What if there was a cyclist there?

All I was saying that car drivers can kill in a second because of lack of concentration. Cylcist can't. Therefore car drivers should concetrate more.
The same as saying lorry drivers have blind spots. So therefore they should be more careful when taking corners.

Only people who forget that it is very easy to kill when driving a car.

My point about dickheads on both is that too many people think that only motorists are dickheads on the road, while i've seen a lot of cyclists being really fucking stupid on the roads, but if there's a cyclist/car interface, a lot of people here will automatically discriminate against the motorist.
