The only thing I can think that might be used for is as a DJ tool, like for an intro or outro to a set or overlay to make something more minimal a bit more interesting but as a release, it's not what I'd expect.

But what is point of Crux?

It's basically my quick road bike now. The Tarmac it's replacing is going to Poland at some point. The Mason that I'd normally do ultras and audaxes on has been nicked by someone at GLS and I don't want to use the Crux for loaded shit and/or travel if I can help it.

When it gets ratty enough and I'm not treating it as "precious" then it'll get more gravel and ultra use. Same process the Tarmac went through.

None that I remember. It was the only bike that had the ability to run dynamo cable along tubetube internally, which I liked.

I know the Tripster has a solid chainstay yoke and no routing through the chainstay, so the Di2 was taped under the chainstay and worked fine. The 4SD I think had all the internal gubbins it needed... until the frame snapped.

So, yeah, I wouldn't buy a 4S Disc unless they've changed to thru axles.

I didn't see much old stuff but it was only a quick look. Seemed mostly that new, shit, hardstyle nonsense. As Lenny Dee says "maybe if you made some music, you wouldn't need 6 different kick drums"

I've been riding this Surly Ogre for everything. Mostly road because everything is slop at the moment but when it dries out the 2.5s go back on, mudguards off and maybe lose the aerobars and we're golden. After this slop fest jamming up the guards again I finally installed the 60mm guard for the 50mm tyres and the missus got her 700C guard back.

I'm having serious thoughts about bringing my Tripster back from Poland so I can use it for trips where I don't want to take my "Sunday best" Crux.

But after the last few pages, now I want to buy an Arkose just to have owned one. @PhilDAS what size is yours and when are you selling it?

Yeah, it still stands out today as a very unique sounding tune. It's catchy as fuck.

Good point. I was surprised that we gave away or sold most of our old kitchen stuff.

We gave away the cupboards which I was sure no one would want and sold the oven and stuff for a small amount.

It was quite handy because it meant we only binned a small amount of old stuff - like one damaged cupboard worth.

Most of my bikes are Di2. I went with GRX levers on the Crux rather than Ultegra as they're a bit grippier so useful for off-road even though it's mostly a road bike.

Some form of Shimano hydraulic, always.

Actually I've been watching a lot of psytrance sets on youtube. It's nice eye candy because apparently only sexy, young people go to psytrance parties...

I've only really paid them attention when it does an adjustment. It's a quick way of seeing how much easier or harder a replacement workout is. Generally it's when I go and do a big ride and then ignore workouts afterwards.

I was agreeing that they're VO2max intervals not that they're easy. Shit I don't think I'd be able to do 7min of sweetspot at the moment :)

That's early in the V02max workouts. Intensity will increase over time and they will change interval length and rests too.
