That looks like a threadless BB that was used to replace the original push fit one, aswell as my 69 steel lugged Lambert I have a later 70's Aerospace lugless one with deathfork just before they were bought out by Viscount.
The BB on that takes the cartridge bearings shown in an above link and is held in with circlips, apparently these had a tendency to fail at the circlip groove hence the replacement type.Google Francis Thurmer of 'Hard to Find cycle parts' he does a BB that is basically a tube that tightens up on itself and works for threadless or damaged thread BBs

Lifted from ACF reg number :)
It was wet, there was a select band there, but I am heartily sick of seeing taxi drivers deliberately drive into cyclists. This one, K922LMP, had previously collided with a chap who caught up with him on Waterloo Bridge. There was a full and frank exchange of views as the taxi was hemmed in by cyclists, but after the taxi drove off again, within 100 yards he quite deliberately drove into a cyclist while travelling at some speed (20ish mph). The cyclist was knocked sideways, but didn't fall off, and the taxi sped down the underpass at Lancaster Place and that was the last I saw of him. Maniacs like that should never be allowed to operate anything more dangerous than a sewing machine.
ps Happy New Year

You should have gone as we left the start it stopped raining and with all the buildings up there you don't notice the wind.
The groups got split as one lot stopped on the bridge as a cab ran into someone but nobody hurt, we got back together down Oxford street :)
A few fixies up there, one I have seen on here black frame green rear wheel and short flat bars but didn't get the chance to say hello and a guy on a yellow frame, imagine velocity boys Bob Jackson after a hard life ;)
We turned off before the finish for beer and pancakes.

A friend and my brother-in-law both have the Canon 400D and I have used it at my nieces christening for them it is an excellent user friendly camera, unfortuneately out of my price range.
I have been borrowing cameras since mine packed up the day before the TDF and I'm looking at a compact replacement with this in mind Panasonic DMC-FX10 what are the experts opinion on that??

'Hell of the Ashdown Forest' cyclosportive ride.
A 100km and 50km option the 100km having approx 2000m of climbing.
I was marshalling the outgoing riders just South of Four Elms, after the last outgoing rider went past I shot off to take some other pics at Ide Hill and Star Hill.
Here are my favourites from the set;Hell of the Ashdown set any names to faces let me know and I'll add them.
This because it shows best the gradient of Star Hill

This one because her smile really makes the photo

and this because you can just see why most riders are looking to their right, the view over Bough Beech reservoir.
