hey, you know you can make that black seatpost/stem into silver, if you're up for a little more work.
get some caustic soda, mix it with hot water, drop parts in for a few mins, take out, sand them and polish.
seatpost will be easy due to its shape.

Yeah, i used to do the same thing to the 210 bus up highgate hill. Fuckin scary, cos i was in the drops - meaning if bus driver even braked just a teeny bit i would have hit him, due to the fact the my brake lever is (was) by the stem.
Must check out muswell hill when i get rolling again.

That's alright - you can't get it on? Well, take it for a ride uphill, you'll probably screw the sprocket on a little harder, and then you mayb be able to get a bb lockring on there.
