a track frame is intended to be used fixed from day 1. it has track ends, tight geometry, and probably isn't drilled for a rear brake.
No, if it's a real TRACK frame SET (as opposed to a fixie frame or what used to be called a road/path frame), it DEFINITELY will not have a drilling for a front brake.

+1
And as a seller, i had quite a few items which ended for 7p - can remember of a 3T quill stem which ended for 7p, and a track chainring which ended for 7p as well! :(
I think I got a stem off you for about 40p or something. ;-) Yeah, eBay is up and down, but if you're buying 9 speed Dura Ace STI levers, forget value - I got mine £30 cheaper than any of the 2nd hand listings NEW off a web shop.
I agree with Dogs and Roberto, tho - patience and willingness to comb thru the listings for mispells and mislists pays off.
On feedback: I think they have changed the rules now, but after receiving neg fb for leaving neg fb, I would always wait til the seller has left fb before leaving fb.
I love leaving neg fb. LOVE IT!

Yeah, neither of us were laughing at first - but so lucky she wasn't hurt. It was one of those were there is a stunned silence while everyone tries to work out whether any major injuries have resulted.
Not sure what happened - but I think it was too much booze and other things, plus cycling shoes on slippery floor.

Hello all,
I worked in Condor as a Sales Assistant for a few months a few years ago. Around 4pm on an ordinary weekday, a little black kid (no more than 10 years old) popped in to have a look around.
A few years ago? Why have you waited this long? As David says, this is slander. Did Grant say this in front of witnesses? Care to name them? Otherwise delete the post.

This is crap. There are heaps of different disciplines on the track, and many different types of track, short with tight and steep banking, long with shallow banks (HHV), wooden, concrete, asphalt etc. Therefore different frames will be more or less suitable for specific events on different tracks
A track pursuit bike looks different to a madison bike, which both look different to a sprint bike. A super-stiff ally frame fitted with super stiff wheels is probably not the right choice for a hard bumpy track like HHV, but might well be the perfect mount at a wooden wall of death like Calshot.
Therefore the only generalisation you can make is that a track bike will have a fixed-wheel, no hand -brakes no quick releases and capped bar ends (although you would have to ride drops for mass-start events, whereas you could ride lo-pros for time trial events). I don't think there are even any rules that stipulate that any bike to be ridden on the track has to have backward facing rear drop outs. I am pretty sure that you could get up at HHV with forward facing rear drop outs
Likewise any bike that any courier rides is a courier bike.
There was a guy who used to ride a MTB with a dog in the front basket, wouldn't have been my choice, but it was still a courier bike.

Whatever. I have heard stories about BC giving bad service, all of which sounded a bit like yours. BC is a really good shop, but they have humans working there, not machines, so sometimes they get it wrong, even after 20 years.
BLB are a young shop, and still learning.
