Knucklehead Match the tape to the brand decals of the frame. I've a black condor italia with silver lettering now with matching bar tape and silver/grey bontangers and its the bees knees.
Otherwise the big cheese star grips cut to fit where you want to grip look nice on most bikes. See http://www.revolutionbicyclerepair.com/catalog/bigcheese-grips-black-white.jpg. Mrs N has them on her fuji in matching red with white stars.Have just been thinking about doing this myself after riding bare bars to Southend in the rain on Sunday.

lpg Bad lycra is worse. Dicki just wore boxer shorts and 3/4 lengths for L2B and he was completely fine. I wore lycra shorts with padding and it was painful!
I reckon i still need to find the perfect saddle...yep boxers and Cargo's for me, was fine. Although my seat did get a little uncomfortable around the 30 mile mark.

Absolutely topnotch ride guys!
Really enjoyed it despite the persistent rain. Just had a hot bath and some (more!) food, actually feel relatively ok.Am trying to access my photo of the group at Southend but my card reader is playing up, will upload as soon as I can.
Good job to those that turned up, nice meeting the new faces.

AndyW Pretty good crowd. Some bloke yelling about how long he had been stuck in his car "I pay my road tax" I think were his words. Lots of laughs.
Haha, yeah I was there when he shouted that, then he proceeded to REALLY slam his door and leave his hand on the horn.
