I *love *that store... Friendly folks, great kicks and they do a pretty nifty line in apparel too... Always spend *way *too much money in there...
I'll be there myself in three short weeks... Woot! :-D -

I got my rear Phil direct from the factory... Just put an order in on the website and *specifically *ask them (it was a guy called Mike when I used them) to put a reduced amount on the parcel for customs and to mark it as a business sample (or whatever it is)... Hub arrived in about 3 days... No charges to pay... Awesome...

do you have the miche cranks and bb? i found my bb had worked loose so popped into brixton cycles on my way home and brought the campag bb tool. tightened it up with no problems. i would check the bb as there is no flange on the cups so sometimes they can work loose, worth checking after a year. (you will need a crank puller too)

the fork is different (unless it's an upgrade) nice curvy lines, i did notice some kind of mission statement in tiny letters on the inside of the fork, a bit like those wanky bit's of prose on the hidden rapha labels. i wouldn't mind if it said something funny like 'yes it's a cunt of a hill and you are bigger cunt for buying this stupid bike' but it was more along the lines of a motivational poster from the viking office supplies catalogue
the black one to me looked like a classico with modern graphics, a wrongle
2 bikes of interest: the se racing fixed called a lager and poo brown. and a fixed lugged frame made by tange the japanese tubing manufactures obviously using their own tubeset, nice looking and baby blue. i told them about fgss and how we would all be interested in seeing more of the frame, if the price is right it looks better than a surly/bareknuckle/fixie inc.
saw wayne and niiihmbus anyone else who looked vaguely like a forum member i kept well clear of.
