I had an E86 M ... was a slightly compromised car I always thought.
A truly amazing engine, a woeful boot (worse on the M than the non-Ms) a very tight cockpit (especially so if you are tall or broad). Really lacking in versatility - its very strictly a two seater, but still a reasonably large (read long) car.
Mine was quite a long way from standard, and very very fast, but this did introduce quite a few challenges that possibly prejudiced me against it in the end.
Oh and the traction control is very intrusive (esp. on track).

Hat tip to @Chak for a great sale of a BTwin commuter and a very enjoyable bit of car chat ...

I wouldn't be holding your breath for hydrogen for the private car ... far too many massive hurdles.
As hugo7 (sort of) says buy the newest, most economical, lowest tax petrol-engined (or petrol hybrid) car that meets your needs in your budget. That way you are future proofed against ULEZ type tightening and you get the lowest reasonable running costs.

Ah, sorry misread your reply … or rather the email telling me there was a reply … no don’t have any ramps I’m afraid just the stands.
Edited to add:
In the event that anyone is looking for axle stands, they are Wickes 2 tonne folding stands - still in their original box. Free to anyone who wants to pick them up from SW13. -

61 plate MINI Countryman Cooper S in dark green with black bonnet stripes; 18 in wheels
84,500 miles; full cream leather; Chilli Pack
MoT in Dec; full history including the recent recall for, IIRC, a turbo cooling fan or something; had a new clutch and flywheel a few years ago (will need to check the paperwork)
Recently serviced, next service due in 20,000 miles or on time, which with the amount of use I am giving it will definitely arrive first!
Tyres are Falken FK510 with plenty of tread (ace tyres by the way)
Two keys, all the books, paperwork and kits - jack/tools/tyre weld/first aid, etc.
Locking wheel nuts (with the key)
Also includes a set of winter wheels and tyres - 16" steels with Goodyear M+S tyres, two almost new, two about half wornBad points:
- I haven't washed it - I just walked out and took the pictures today
- has a few chips and scratches, wheels would benefit from a refurb - it does live in London
